I love the Serpent Society figures, but for some reason I've just never gotten around to playing them... they just don't seem like a competitive team with their limited lineup. Then I realized they might be better with some feats attached.

Most options involve downgrading Princess Python (I'm mostly using the V because it looks nice with all the red rings...) and using the leftover points for feats - PP and Anaconda can both use the Knockdown feat, for instance.

While seeing red is just fine and dandy, I'd rather not waste twelve points. Although, if you look at my version below I'm sixteen points short; Making the Veteran Princess Python still, unfortunately, an option.

As long as you play the Resistance BFC you should be fine. With Chad's team you can fit on a Nanobots/AP if you really want it, though I like Contingency Plan.

Are you playing to a 200 point build? If so, then you seem to have about the best you can muster here. If not, I would consider adding in a E or V copperhead from Origins.

I know he isn't Marvel, but he fits the role nicely for existing CC related characters from the serpent society (i.e. Death Adder, Cottonmouth, etc.).

I would maybe go with the vet w/ protected for 296 points and find a 3* point feat to put on someone.
