Let the discussions flow. Likes, dislikes, classic film or overhyped trash, and DONT FORGET to place an Overall Rating when youre done.
Its easy, just give a Rating from 1 (Jaws 4:The Revenge) to 10 (Jaws), and thats it. Course I'd love to have you all give reasons as to why you feel it deserves this Overall Rating, and more than encourage discussions with us all about them.

I just bought this not long ago because my finace had never seen it before. Lately anything that I claim was great when I was a kid seems to be much worse than I remember, but this totally lived up to my memories of it. It is a fantastic film from beginning to end,
I have always thought that Cary Elwes would have been a huge star had he been born 40 years earlier, it is like the old Errol Flynn or Douglas Fairbanks movies except with a decent script, good acting, a discernable plot and production values.
Anyway, it is a great film and my fiance was pleasantly surprised that a film that I enjoyed in my youth actually turned out to be good for once.
Personally I think this is one of the best fantasy/comedies of all time (right there along with Time Bandits). A truly great story, terrific acting, a perfect blending of seriousness (whose blood didnt curdle when Wesley is screaming his head off getting 50 years taken from his life), and comedy gold. A true gem in both the fantasy and comedy genres (not to mention containing one of the best sword fights in movies, IMO), and a film I would recommend to Anyone with the utmost confidence.
The Princess Bride - 9.25 / 10

This is one of the few movies where when someone tells me they didn't like it, I wonder what's wrong with them. Seriously, how does one not enjoy this film. Wonderful acting, fun action sequences, great comedy and bar none some of my favorite quotes in all of moviedom.
"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father. PREPARE TO DIE."
"He didn't fall, inconceivable." "Why do you keep saying that word, I don't think it means what you think it means."
"True love is the greatest thing in life, except an MLT. A mutton lettuce tomato sandwich where the mutton is nice and lean. I love that."
I like it for its camp value. Inigo Montoya is one of my favorite fantasy/comedy characters. However, my favorite part of the movie is the relationship and interaction between the Grandfather and the Grandson.
"I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing around, I mean to deprive you of your life. But I wanted you to know who it was who had beaten you."
KHAN NOONIAN SINGH
In memory of Ricardo Gonzalo Pedro Montalbán Merino
10/10 This movie is pure genious and I'll agree with Chief, it is one of those movies that if someone doesn't like it you have to wonder about their mental prowess.
INCONCEIVABLE!
I really need to read the book for this and The Never Ending Story one of these days.
"Sometimes you have to roll the hard six."
-Commander William Adama
If I were stuck on a desert island with only 5 movies to watch? This is one of them. (Aliens is another)
Surpisingly, my Wife doesn't get it... but I still married her, in spite of that flaw. I knew it was love when she patiently sat through Battlefield Earth with me... and actually talked to me after the movie... but, mark my words, not getting this movie is a big black mark in the Book of love.... a big one.
Like Spinal Tap said: it goes all the way up to 11 for this one:
11 out of 10.
