COPCICLES: Icicle can use Barrier. When three or more barrier terrain markers placed by Icicle using Barrier are adjacent to a target opposing character with zero or one action token, given that target an action token.
Can you target more than one character if you get each character to tocuh 3 squares of the barrier??
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.

like
T=target
B=barrier
T B T

thanks for any help
Yep...technically, you could bang off three targets if the positioning was right.

It's a simple barrier, so as long as you can see one spot, and the rest are within range, you're good to go.

My understanding is that since the description says "a" target opposing character and specifies that you give a token to "that" target, you can only target on character at a time, regardless of how many characters end up with three barrier markers touching them.

Actually, you can get 4 targets with the right set up:

T B T
T B T

Yeah, never thought of that angle...nice! Though, if your opponent sets up an alley like that, they more than deserve it.
An alley like that might happen more than you think.
Think of indoor maps like the prison or the old mall with lots of doors.
Usually people set up on both sides of the door and leave a path down the middle.

Watch out in this setup... as I recall, the diagonal won't count as adjacent because of the two squares of blocking that touch on the diagonal which seperate the characters from the third square of the barrier.
Sorry that is worded badly... but just avoid right angles with your barrier for copsicles!

Copsicle has been discussed thoroughly here, here, and here.
On the WizKids forums, nbperp (HeroClix Rules Arbitrator) has ruled that Copsicle can affect multiple characters. The thread is located here. His post is #10.

Yea, I actually was able to use it on the prison map with that "T" setup. Totally lucked out on my part.
And just because it says "a target" in the description, it does not necessarily mean "one target".
That guy is "a target" and that enemy guy one space over is also "a target".
The T set up would still work because the square is still considered adjacent to the target squares.
BX
TB
BT
XB
would also work for tokening two figs (X=Clear)
If by "T set up" you are refering to the set up posted by Shield001:
T=target
B=barrier
T B T
B B B
... then you are mistaken. I'm sure its covered in one of the links Speedster provided, but for the sake of completeness, here's the short answer.
The single blue barrier square is not considered adjacent to either target because of the continuous blocking terrain created by the diagonally adjacent red barrier squares, so even though the squares are adjacent, the occupants (figure, object or terrain) of those squares are not. This is validated by the fact that the continuous blocking terrain created by the red barrier tokens also prevents either figure from destroying the blue barrier token with a close combat attack.

C=clear
you could always do that to get 3 if im not mistaken.
That doesn't fly because the barrier tokens have to be continuous and these diverge. If all 4 aren't connected one to the next, then you, my friend, do not have a legal barrier.

No, that works just fine. Continous means they all have to be touching, not in a straight line. There is nothing wrong with that set-up.
