The judge at the venue I played at today ruled it as a either or and Unus was a nightmare to deal with. If you get both at the same time, that's just silly.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
I just saw the thread in "General Discussion" about this... and the consensus seems to be that he does get both... which makes him (all but) Untouchable!
I love it. Now I just need to nab one.

Well, there's no reason you shouldn't get both.
On the upside, you can outwit both at once.

"Unacceptable? Did you see the pool? They flipped the #####!"
Yeah, I played it with both beause it makes sense. I mean, if not, what's the point of having a special power that can use both? It's supposed to make him more untouchable [since PS and EW can bypass Impervious, but not Super Senses].
Also, is it me, or does Unus look like he's running to a Star Trek convention?
I run HeroClix tournaments at Shuffle and Cut in La Habra, California. The format of each tournament will be posted here.
Yes, you can use both. Neither requires any specific action type.
The reason Flash can't use HSS and Phasing together is the activation requirements of each.
On the other hand, the version that gets Charge and Flurry /can/ use them together, because during a charge, you can use a close combat action, which flurry is.
Super Senses triggers when you're the target of an attack, giving you a chance to avoid it. Impervious gives you a chance to reduce damage once an attack hits.
Yes, he's annoying, but he's supposed to be. He lacks a lot of damage, but he's an amazing tk piece early, moving to being a tie up piece.
For more comic-accuracy, Batman will become so stealthy, he will not actually appear in sets.
Instead, there will be a new battlefield condition :
The Goddamn Batman : Both players put their figures away and go home. Batman is declared the winner.
Did ya see Common Flash from Justice League? HSS and P/T, but he can't use both at the same time. Options, that's why. It gives a person options.
That's because both powers require a power action to activate and you can only give one power action to a character. On the other hand, the Flashes with Charge and Flurry can use the powers together because Charge requires a power action to activate but then grants a close combat action that can be used to activate Flurry.
This is why I often say that understanding the reason behind a rule is far more important then memorizing a ruling.
