Best animated picture ever.

This is without-a-doubt one of my favorite animated movies. To be honest, I can't for the life of me think of 1 negative thing about it. It's funny, has lots of adventure, a sweet romance and even a moral for everyone to adhere to.

9.5/10. For all you parents who are deciding what to show your kids, this is a must see. I reckon you'll enjoy it yourself.

One of Disney's best.

Ive gotta say, while I do rate Beauty And The Beast as my favorite overall Disney film (with Tarzan not very far from that), Aladdin is probably its most fun and funny animated outing, not to mention a fantastic family film, that would appeal to the Whole family. Great story, great animation, tons of hilarious jokes, the music and songs were Top Notch and an ending that I personally didnt see coming as well. Truly a Classic in family animation, and one I would recommend to all, young or old.

Aladdin - 9.25 / 10

9/10 This is definitely one of Disney's Classics from their Renaissance in the 90s before Pixar showed up and stole the show. Its full of action, adventure, comedy, and well... magic. Its what a true Disney movie should be.

Plus it introduced the world to Gilbert Godfrey's TRUE calling. Voicing annoying birds. Very annoying birds. AFLACK anyone?

I give Aladdin credit for one thing more than any other Disney film. It has by far and away the best sequels of any Disney movie.

9/10. Not as good as Beauty and the Beast - but superior to everything that followed it (that wasn't Pixar). Kind of a last hurrah for cel animation/musicals.

I would have enjoyed this without Robin Williams, the guy is just not funny, he seems nice enough but being spazzy and doing impressions isn't funny at all. But I have to admit that Whole New World is easily the best CC #####ton song ever (which is the biggest backhanded compliment I have given all day).

I have to completely agree with you on dis-liking Robin Williams, but Ill have to give this film 1 point more than you did, as not seeing him on screen makes his performance here a good deal more enjoyable for me. 7 out of 10.

Lion King beats it out, but not by much.

His name isn't Aladdin - it's Al. In fact, he's not Aladdin, he's Prince Erik's brother.

Oh, and Jafar sounds foreign enough. Give him a curvey beard, make him evil and chauvinistic because all Indian/Middle Eastern men are like that.

Disney sucks, but the movie has some comedic moments. Animation and art isn't terrible.

Really enjoyable movie.

9.5, one I had to own.
I remember reading something from when they made this movie that they weren't sure if letting Robin Williams improv contemporary figures would date the movie. Over a decade later and it has. I'm old enough to get all the jokes but those younger may not. I suppose it's like those old Warner Brothers cartoons where they have the old actor cameos and I wonder "Who was that"?

So far I'm picked out:
Edward G Robinson
Bing Crosby
Xavier Cugat
Mae West
and a few others but some have me wondering "Who is that?" and without someone old enough to explain it for me I have to realize It's a joke lost on me.
I guess Aladdin will succum b to that eventually.
