Ok, I need a list of all of The Sentry's appearances he's made in comics since his introduction. Here's what I have so far:
Marvel Knights Sentry #1-5
-Also those 5 respective crossover Marvel Knights issues
The Sentry: Reborn #1-8
New Avengers #1-25 (or 26)
Mighty Avengers #1-current
The Invincible Iron Man #7-12 (Execute Program storyline)
Captain Marvel Reborn one-shot
Civil War, World War Hulk, WWH Front Line.
What else is there? I'm trying to find out every appearance he's made so I can write a paper for my comics class on him. Please don't let this thread degenerate into another "he suxxorz" "no he roxxorz" thread. I'm just looking for the straight facts. Any help would be appreciate. Thanks!
He was in Silent War?! Dang... Missed that one completely
I am pretty sure he was in there, warning Black Bolt not to attack America. It's been awhile, but I do remember the verbal stand-off between them taking place.

Was that in Silent War?
I do remember the Inhumans vs the Avengers.
SPOILER:
In my opinion, it was a great moment between to teams going at it - when the Avengers are calling for Sentry to get in there and he says, as long as I stay out, Bolt stays out.
Haters aren't going to like it, as another example of both characters never demonstrating their supposed power - and I can see that point of view, but the implications were awesome.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
Here's the exact topic I emailed my professor, keep in mind I typed this at about 3-4am:
Throughout the class we examined works which have already been accepted by the small portion of academia which accepts comics as intellectual works (this is not to say that comics aren't intellectual works). I would like to venture out and dissect the essence of "mainstream" superhero comics. In particular, I will use the Marvel character of The Sentry. The Sentry first appeared on the newsstand in September of 2000 and was hyped as an unearthing of the "first" superhero Stan Lee worked on. Of course this was later revealed to be a hoax, but in order for the story to be plausible, the Marvel Knights' Sentry story had to be able to be believable as a hero of a generation past. Today in November of 2007, the character of the Sentry still exists in a fair capacity in the Marvel Universe, so something must have gone right as the character made the "transition" across generations to have the Photoshopped glow of modern day superheroes. For this topic, I will be using the first appearance story of the Sentry, collecting The Sentry #1-5 and the 5 crossover issues which concluded this particular arc. I will also examine the recent Sentry 8 issue limited series, and also New Avengers #7-10 which has been collected into a trade paperback under the volume name "Sentry." I would also likely make references to particular issues in which The Sentry played a major role (i.e. Crossover events).
When I wrote this proposal, I thought the paper was going to be a 8-10 page minimum. Instead it's only 4-5 pages, lol.
edit: I love this class

You may be right. I really cannot recall. But it seems to me that Sentry was sent to Attilan to talk Black Bolt out of invading. Then when the Inhumans landed on Earth, Sentry met them in the Arctic Circle or some other frozen tundra.

I'm curious, does anyone know WHY/WHEN the Sentry resigned himself to a jail cell prior to New Avengers #1? Was there a specific issue of a series that that happened in or what?
Jarimy123 - "The Infinity Gauntlet - Giving new guy Lou a shot for the first 2 rounds since '99"
He thought he killed his wife because he couldn't separate his own life from a fake one being created by Paul Jenkins. It's sorta explained in the second arc.
