As stated in our July Double Donor Days; we kick off our biannual donation drive for the entire month of December! This will be locked down to a June/December thing ... in the event you guys want to sync your contributions.

We have also decided to add a "Double Up" bonus to this and every subsequent Double Donor Day! Every week (Sunday), we will pick 1 donor from each donor level (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc) ... and allow them to gift someone else with a matching donation! So if your Gold Donation is picked, you get to give someone a Gold Donation for a year! *

So it starts! "Double Donor Days" ... which is a silly way of saying that all Donation Levels have been cut in half (50% Off!).

* Yes, you can give to yourself to extend your current donation an extra year.

Note: All November 2007 donations have been extended to reflect the Double Donor Days promotion (ie. 2 years, instead of 1).

My Bronze membership ran out on the 2nd of November this year, so I expanded it for another year on that day. Just checked my user cp...it says it's expiring 11/02/2008.

Now I'm reading this here:

Yes my membership also recently expired. This was very opportune! I could have gotten along with the ads except for that stupid flashing type frag thing that prevented the site from loading quickly, and the one that expanded when your cursor rolled over it... stupid ads...

Any word yet on what all is included with Adamantium? I'm probably upgrading to at least Diamond for the attachments (and now that the temptation to neg rep on a constant basis is gone) but I wanna know if the Adamantium perks are worth twice the Diamond price before I upgrade.

We've run into a lot of issues with the perks that we planned to reward for adamantium. I still have hopes I'll be able to get them done before the end of the year ... but I don't believe they really benefit the everyday members all that much. Just stay tuned though.

So if I bought a ten dollar bronze last month and now silver costs ten, do i still need ten to upgrade from bronze to silver or 5?

If you got it in November; than your bronze was actually extended an additional year to compensate for the price change. I'm actually almost complete with the Donation Upgrade utility (where you can convert donation levels yourself), so I'd just wait for that. It will allow you to upgrade only; not downgrade.

How do you check in your User CP to see when you subscription ends?

Click on Paid Subscriptions (on the left, towards the bottom.) That'll give you the info that you're looking for.

Sounds cool. So if you have a friend that has no money, Like me, You can give them a matching subscription..... Am I hearing this right?

I'm interested in donoring, but how much am I looking at? And what are the perks I hear about?

I´m relatively new and I have absolutely no idea what this is all about. could someone please explain what this is all about? what are all these donor levels? what supsription? I just registered for free and have no clue.
