I played a carded up Green Scar for the fun of it last night and went up against an opponent with armor wars. Needless to say, he pinged me to death.

Interesting thing came up, though. I knocked Fabian Cortez onto his Poison clicks. Would Armor Wars kick-in with poison? My opponent thought it didn't so he didn't use the power, but afterward, I told him he could have killed me that must faster because I thought it would work.

Any thoughts?

Posion deals damage.

Armor Wars takes any damage that was reduced and bumps it back up by 1 after all other game effects.

They work perfectly fine together.

In fact, due to a little loophole in the rules, if the Poisoner has AP and Armor Wars is in play, any Posion damage dealt to a character with damage reducers is bumped up to 2 (AP prevents damage dealt from being reduced below 1, but since the attempt was made to reduce the damage AW kicks in, raising the damage by 1. Net result, 2 damage.). This actually works with any 1 damage dealt + AP effect (natural 1 damage value, single target EE, etc) when Armor Wars is in play.
