How should we handle the KC figures ???

Keep them as the final progression for characters

Have them as separate characters.

I think it's obvious how I feel.

Wait, I know someone said on the thread before, but I have forgotten. Was it stated that the KC people are their own "reality" as far as the multiverse is concerned?

yes within the current state of the 52 known DC earths, one (#22) is now the home of the Kingdom Come characters. I do believe that the Crisis set will make this vote some what important as we will no doubt be exposed to other former "Elseworlds" characters like vampire bat, Son of Darksied Supes, Barda & Mr Miracle (the Nail), the 1 million versions and so on...

I'd like to separate the KC characters. Although that opens up the KC flash way early.

I'd like to suggest a new "Alternate But Themely Only" option -- essentially, any figure with a silver Unique ring may only be drafted by a team on which it fits themely. This would let the KC figures be separate, but if someone not running a KC team wants one, they'll have to trade the KC team for them.

I like Peers suggestion the best. Yeah they're separate reality and should be counted as such, but they need to have a heavy theme restriction.

I like Peers suggestion in a way. However I am really iffy on 'containing' characters that are percieved as very tough to beat. Even if the totally are.

I'm not so much singling out 'tough to beat' characters so much as trying to make 'Unique' mean something when League rules essentially make -everyone- Unique to begin with. This rule would affect more than just the KC figs... other DC Elseworlds stuff would become off-limits, and other Uniques from both sides might become off-limits unless you have a theme claim to them, and I'm not quite sure how big a problem it would cause.

Quick, someone check the rosters to see who has U's that aren't themey for them!

I think there are way too many cool uniques that don't have much of a theme for this policy. Getting the U status has never seemed to mean much as far as wizkids goes, always strikes me as a lottery.

This would mean that no one gets to use Arkon, Dark Knight Batgirl, Big Barda & Mr. Miracle duo, Col. Logan, Vampire Batman....

Plus, many of those pieces make great proxy figs. I know that this leaves a lot to interpretation and to some 'cheesy' themes. However, I would rather the league take a stance of assuming everyone is here to have fun and be competetive...in a fun way. That's all.

Plus, it affects some characters who have Us in addition to REVs.
