If you have monster hunter on a figure and they attack a figure that has a SP like High evolutionary or Joker that becomes a giant do they get the +1 because they attacked the character that gained the ability to become a giant.

When the Special Power is showing the figure has the symbol, and therefore the monster hunter would get its bonus.
Fortunately you can just cancel the Special powers if you'd rather be a figure.

Yeah, if they're silly enough to not turn off the power when you declare your attack, then you get the bonus...

There ae good reasons to not cancel the power, like keeping someone tied up.
