Speed - Teamwork: World's Finest can use Charge and Force Blast. Immediately after World's Finest uses Force Blast to successfully knock back a target, they can use Charge as a free action to attack that target if Charge allows them to do so. Attack - Wallbuster: World's Finest can use Super Strength. When given a move action, during the move World's Finest can automatically destroy up to 2 squares of blocking terrain or the wall adjoining two squares; they can continue their movement, if any, after destroying the wall. Special Rule: World’s Finest must begin with their base completely in their player’s starting area. Their base occupies 4 squares on the map. They can be adjacent to a maximum of 12 squares, and can attack and be attacked through any of them. World’s Finest can make ranged combat attacks against non-adjacent characters when they are adjacent to two or fewer opposing characters. Special Rule: World’s Finest do not take pushing damage.
I am so glad that I have already prepaid for my case of Crisis. I will be sending out my receipts and bottoms the same day I get that case.
This combo looks "FANTASTIC" As the previous person said and I totally agree. I will find a way to play this figure. No if, ands, or buts. They will be used alot! The sculpt looks fantastic and the dial is awesome.
They will be even more deadly since they will also have the crossed-fists attack.
Now I cant wait till this set comes out, so I can get them. This just reinforces that DC rules heroclix.
WizKids announces the Crisis “Worlds Finest” Buy it by the Brick figure!
(Yes, this is day old news, but people keep posting it to the General Discussion because they don’t see it on the front page, so here ya go!)
Since it happens all the time, maybe news should be put up faster....just an idea...or what about anytime someone clicks "New Thread" it forces the user to search for their topic.
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
Nice sculpt (the Batman in particular, not so much the pinhead version of Superman) and a fitting duo. I'd be looking forward to it a little more if they'd included Justice League and/or Justice League of America keywords for it, though. I understand the style and sources they're drawing from for this piece, but I'd prefer more options.
I'm still on the fence as to how much I do or don't want this. I'm trying to separate my collector's completist tendencies from my actual interest in the piece, and so far haven't succeeded.
Speaking as a huge Fantastic Four fan, I honestly can say that the idea of the foursome on a single base does little good for me aside from thinking it could look, well, fantastic, as something for display. Even were it to receive modified rules fitting for a four-figured piece I'd still be bothered by them being unable to spread out. (As you might guess from this I'm still not a huge fan of the duo mechanic as it's mostly been applied so far.)
5000 pieces? Is WK trying to alienate their players, or is that just a bonus for them? Most venues don't get everything they ordered on the first day of release. Even those who pre-order their bricks are going to be screwed over by this absurd limited run, when their order doesn't arrive in enough time to send in the coupon. Even the players that do manage to send their coupons in on the first day don't have a sure thing. This is just stupidity. There is no rational explanation for a decision like this.
You've got to be kidding me... That's just plain sick. SICK I TELL YA! SICK!!!
...I want one
Note: It's kinda hard to be in stealth when you take up 4 squares. Why not just have made it a peanut base like Lobo? I mean, I'm still gonna play it, but the peanut base would so make that team that much more evil and limit the amount of possibilities for retaliation.
