Funniest? That's hard to say. But when you get right down to it, I think Batman is - specifically because of how serious he's been presented as.

Think about Justice League Unlimited, for instance, when he had to sing. Or the webcomic Shortpacked. "I'm Batman. And I can breath in space." Or his appearance in the first Super-Buddies story. Or the DC Christmas story from last year where he showed up as Bat-Santa. Putting Batman into a ridiculous situation just about automatically makes it funny.

Silliest? Detective Chimp. He's a talking chimpanzee. Who's a detective. And a registered Republican. Who dresses up like Sherlock Holmes.

Lamest? Easy. Jason Todd as the Red Hood. Simply put, he should've stayed dead. Everything about him and his resurrection is a festering boil on DC's backside.

Though for what it's worth, most runners up for lamest are due to Judd Winick's influence.

Well admittedly I am looking more for teh b, c and D list guys out the not the main eventers or Superman would be at the top of the list

Well, it could also be said there's no such thing as good characters, only good writers.

I may like Batman and Superman, but I wouldn't touch Superman/Batman with a ten foot pole and avoided Batman titles religiously prior to One Year Later.
