Ultimate Power #9 - Rated 8 - The Hulk fight was cool though no one does Thing KO him. I'm going more with Invis Womans force field making him pass out. Im not sure how it's all Furys fault. Not to mention that Fury is a good guy! Come on!
Ult Spidy #117 - Rated 8 - Normanand Harry get into a goblin fight and Norm kills his son. He then realizes he truely is a monster and reverts to human form asking Carol to kill him which she does. PEter later goes onto to remember Harry and all his goodness. I think both Goblins will regenerate.
X-Men #206 - Rated 8 - So we findout that Madrox and Layla are in Bishops future. Cable goes to Forge to get a time travel machine but finds Forge KOed. He then gets show in the back by... Bishop who looks like he plans to kill the baby. Hhhmm
Daredevil #103 - Rated 6 - This story really is stretching. It's more of the "Matt runs around roughing up thugs to get info on Fear." Plsu more of "Milla is losing her mind more and more." Arc needs to end soon.
Cap A #33 - Rated 8 - Bucky escapes SHIELD custody and attacks Tony. Tony convinces him to talk and show him the last letter Steve wrote. Which basicly asks Bucky to become the new Cap. Bucky agrees. Still a good book despite the lack of Steve. Bucky will be a new hardcore Cap which I dont think ultimately will go over too well.
Avengers Init #8 - Rated 7 - O'Grady Ant-Man joins the Init. He smarts off and Stature overhears and thinks he's making fun of her dead dad so she attacks him. Yellowjacket then joins in and it a 3-way giant fight. Taskmaster easily takes them all down. We learn more about the MVP clones and it seems one escapes and starts wrecking havok. Oh yea we learn Komodo in her normal human mode lacks legs.
Thor #5 - Rated 8 - Thor goes to find more of his family and confronts The Destroyer who actualyl turns out to be a friend of his. He also finds and frees Loki... who know has breasts. Yes, via the chaos of Ragnarok etc Loki is now a female. She convinces Thor shes not going to caus trouble (LOL) but is seen contactingDr. Doom to help her find other "Evil" Asgardians. Later Thor and crew joina town meeting they wer invited to. Aahhhh
MZ 2 #3 - Rated 8 - The good zombies and friends defeat Gladiator and go chat for a bit. The evil zombies go to fidn the teleporter so they can find new universes to eat but its gone! Turns out Forge stole it already thus they head back to attack. Plus, the good guys found Cap Americas brain and put it in a new body! So CApis back! Though not at full mental power. Also: Necrophilia. Eeeehhhh
Amazing Spidy #545 - Rated 0 - Yea, Chuck Austen bad. Though even in his wildest dreams Austen wouldn't do something this lame. So yea even WORSE then Austen. It's so hamfisted. Yea, with the words "We'll find each other again" they agreet o mave thier whole marriage erased. Yup 20 years of Spidy history gone by good ol' Joe Q. Plsu to rub salt int he wounds he even shows us (and them) they are also giving up a daughter! Peter wakes up an adult man who lives with his Aunt and rides a bike. Wow. Seriously. I'm done with Spidy till this is fixed.
You were too nice to give Spidey a zero. I would have gone into the negatives.
And Loki being a woman now? Well, honestly, that's not TOO surprising. In the myths, at least, Loki had a penchant for gender-bending. Glad to see that Bucky is going to take up the mantle. I don't think anyone else could.
That doesn't mean I don't want Steve to come back, mind you. Even if it isn't as Cap.

I might have to pic up Inititiave if theyre having Taskmaster kicking the carp out of everyone.
Yeah OneMoreDay is just horrid.
Peter: Ill do anything to save my aunt.
Mephisto: OK fine, you wont be married to a super model, your other true love will still be dead, will bring back your arch-enemy/best friend...and youll live with your aunt and ride a bike.
I really liked seeing Taskmaster taking out three giants at once. That's a Taskmaster I can enjoy reading about, not the one who has trouble with a shackled Deadpool.
Also, Giant-Size Avengers was kinda fun. It wasn't as funny as it thought it was, but it was still a decent read. More Jarvis then I would have expected though.
If I had to rate Amazing Spider-Man though, I would give it a ' piece of ####' out of ten.
You are very generous towards Cap, I give it a 2 out of 10.
The story was rotten. I read through it and THIS is what we lost Steve for!?!?
Bucky shows up ready to kill and Stark basically says 'don't kill me, Steve gave me a letter for you' and Bucky more or less says 'dope-dy-dope-dy dope....hur hur hur, ok george!'
So what, Steve didn't work so we're going to shoe horn cram Bucky into the role for no damn good reason other then we're a bunch of commies who hate Captain America?
Sheesh, this issue was almost as bad (and makes Brubaker and Cap look almost as bad) as the OMD Spiderman non-sense.
On the flip side, Thor was good. He's seems to still be sporting some of that Odin/Rune power, and he slaps down the Destroyer (something he could never do before, save with the Odin Force) and survives it's uber blast (something he's never done before, save with the Odin Force). It was funny, and ironic to see Loki as a woman (as during Earth X he tricked Odin into turning Thor into a woman). Hela is back, the storm giants are back, and the Enchantress is back to boot. The only downside is to see Loki already up to old schemes so soon. Would have been better to make him seem like a good guy for a while, then gradually ease him into where you aren't sure before going full blown villain. Take a few years to get there.
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"

Pretty muc sums it up. Amazing Spider-man #545 is so silly I can't even begin.
And what was with that big toast at the end where everyone shouted "BRAND NEW DAY!" Could they be patting themselves on the back any more? Clearly Joe Q thinks he just saved the day and Spidey is finally good again.
Anyway, cancelled ASM from my pull list . . . :disappoin
Anyone read Captain Marvel #2 ? Supposedly, there are some hints in there about the Skrull's and what they're up to leading up to Secret Invasion. I've not found a copy as of yet.

No definite hint that I could find.
Captain Marvel #2: 8. Solid issue, still not sure what is going on, is more timetravel involved, and what does those visions have to do with it all? What's with the painting, and are Skrulls involved? What's with Cobalt Man and the Kree troopers?
Summary: Captain Marvel has returned to New York, he's having weird visions, and is still mesmorized by the painting. He and Ms Marvel meet, and fight Cobalt Man (who was supposed to be dead, Stamford incident). Something weird abot Cobalt Man, Carol isn't able to absorb his power blasts, and Captain Mavel is apparently stronger than Cobalt Man thought. Two "men in black" are seen in the background, they're saying that now they have to try something different. Meanwhile Iron Man tries to contact the Kree, but is unable to (maybe has something to do with Annihilation Conquest). End result is that Iron Man meets Captain Marvel onboard the Helicarrier, and questions him, since apparently Mar-Vell contacted the Kree for his surrender, and then sent a message to Iron Man to meet him. Too bad for Mar-Vell that he didn't make contact with the Kree, and was asked by Iron Man to meet him. So neither of them asked for the meeting, and now a Kree ship has appeared above them, troopers attacking both of them in order to kill Captain Marvel.
Amazing Spider-Man #545: I have nothing to say about this issue. The final page, with the toasting, it's to congratulate JMS. "Thanks JMS for this story. Now fix it!" (preferably another four part story which brings everything back the way it was, and May finally dies.)
X-Men - Emperor Vulcan #4 (of 5): 8. This reminds me of the battle scenes of Annihilation. And while the story offers little real surprises, it's intense and worth reading. Can't wait for the conclusion.

Now, if only they could work Annihilation into this story, I'd be interested. This is the retcon that won't die.
I'm sorry but I am so pissed off bout how One More Day went down. No more MJ and what not?? Truly is sad if you ask me
