so who is going to write it then i lie to see more king pin and tombstone in the comic it be cool mabye bullseye two jig saw of course what do you guys want to see in the comic
The last thing I want to see in Punisher MAX is other established Marvel characters. It'd just be silly, and it would completely destroy the book if bad guys would be allowed survive an arc.
As for who'll write it... Don't know, but Greg Rucka has not renewed his DC exclusive contract. He has the right sensibilities for the book.
Yoda of Borg, we are: Futile, resistance is. Assimilate you, we will.
Without Garth Ennis on the book, I don't know how much longer it'll survive. Whoever inherits the title will have to win over a very loyal fan base, from what I've heard anyway.
To the OP: Try some punctuation, you might like it. Given your post, you'd probably like the partial birth abortion that is Punisher War Journal.
Garth Ennis produced what was, without a doubt, the best Punisher run 3var. Garth Ennis off of Punisher will very likely cause me to drop it. They had better replace him with someone very good. If I were Marvel, I'd probably just cancel the series and let Ennis' work stand alone.
There was a Robocop III you know (so don't be racist)
Absolutely no reason to buy it if it ain't Ennis. Thanks for saving me money, Marvel. I might be down to just Hulk, Whoever/Deadpool and Astonishing X-Men now.
Yep. Just cancel the series. Allow it to end on a high note, rather than slide into low sales and finally cancellation. Marvel can start the title anew when the next Punisher film comes out. New readers who pick it up because of the film won't be intimidated by a high issue number, and the pressure of following Garth won't be as strong for the new writer.

Deadpool is heading towards Limbo. Going to be replaced by a Cable solo book last I read. Elli on Astonishing ought to be pretty good though.
As for Punisher, there's any number of writers that they can put on it without there being any noticeable drop in quality.
It's probably going to be the guy that wrote the annual though, which I won't even bother to try out.

If Ennis is off of it, I might just give it a try again. I was Garth Ennis fan from before (Preacher, Hitman), and was very excited when he took over the Punisher. His first run was pretty good, and the Fury mini-series was great. Things started going downhill on his second Punisher series, and when he got the Punisher MAX it seemed like he was just using profanity and sodomy for shock value to the total abandonment of the story.
BTW - Hitman is still one of my all-time favorite comics.

You talk about punctuation only to start in on the leet speak. Kettle calling pot!

Deadpool is getting his own series. Thank the heavens!
Ennis, i read it and before too long dropped it. Like Doompup said, he started using all he could to push boundaries, just because he could. didn't need to happen (although it was funny at times) but wasn't wholly neccessary for the story...
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
