Well. If somebody don't want to pick Brand New Day and is curius of how things are handle now for Spder-Man a 2 pages image in the new comic tell you a little of how the things will be now.
Not even JJ, WTF Marvel, you're losing it. To much fat film cash floating your eyeballs into your brains.
It may be time for marvel to sign off. Seriously, it's like metallica or The Offspring, their new stuff deviates so far from the original that they don't have a right to label them the same. Furthermore, they are discrediting everything they have accomplished by creating this sort of fallacy.

but don't worry. in the end of this issue...
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
JJJ have a heart attack!!
He probababilly will be almost dead and Peter will made a pack with the devul to saved him, in that way peter will be a "Hero" again.
Yeah, that whole BND stuff stinks to high heaven !!
So now we basically have the "old spidey", where any new kid can pick up the story (thrice a month !!) and find old may, new big-breasted gals, and no depth in character at all because we got rid of MJ, the Civil War unmasking, any old job except at the Bugle, and all of Straczinsky's run !!
Wonder what the man thinks of Marvel just destroying his work like that. Apparently he accepted at least to do the Mephisto story, and now he's out...
Welcome back to old blank Pete from the 60s !! Except that... we're not in the sixties anymore.
Too bad, there used to be an adult SM title out of 3, looks like now he's an all-teenager comsumable product.
Thanks, Marvel !! Or not...

"You people will by God act like a team, or at least like people who know each other, or I'll incinerate the bunch of you here and now." -Nextwave: I Kick Your Face
I posted this another thread called "Totally Inappropriate Special Powers."
I thought some of you guys would get a kick out of it.
Feat: The Curse of Joephisto
Cost: 0
Prerequisite: This feat can only be used on the Aunt May pog. You must also play a version of Spider Man.
The Aunt May Pog with this feat can NOT be KO'd under any circumstances. This pog must remain adjacent to Spider Man at all times. If they become separated for any reason Spider Man loses all his powers, gets two action tokens, but takes no pushing damage, and becomes a whiny little ##### who can't relate to women his own age. The only action Spider Man can make until he returns to adjacency with Aunt May is to attempt to return to adjacency with Aunt May.
If at any time a Mary Jane pog, or any other female character, attempts to become adjacent to Spider Man, the Aunt May pog can, as a free action, move into the closest legal space between Spider Man and the nearest female character. Whenever the Aunt May pog is moved this way she does not have to roll breakaway. She also gains the KC team ability, Force Blast, and Probability Control.
Whenever Spider Man is damaged, Aunt May gains the special power, "Wheatcakes."(Support) She may immediately make a Support roll to make Petey feel all better. When Aunt May rolls for Support she gains +2 attack. If Spider Man is healed as a result of "Wheatcakes", he gets two action tokens but takes no pushing damage. These tokens can not be removed for the next two turns because Spider Man is considered to be sitting by Aunt May's bedside holding her hand.

"Ah well, who wants to live forever....Diiiiiiiive!!!!"
I guess it would require a doctorate in clinical psychology anyway, but for the life of me I can't understand Joephisto's fascination with keeping Peter/Spidey as a whiny angst driven loser with superpowers.
Why can't they let him grow up?

I was thinking about this earlier today, about the notion that an unmarried Spidey is somehow unrelatable...
But think about this: Spider-Man is bit of a geek (like many of his readers, whether they care to admit it or not, and I include myself when I say that...I AM A GEEK!)...If Spider-Man is meant to be his readers' fantasy (The geek gets superpowers and saves the day!!! Huzzah!) what reader doesn't fantasize about getting the hot redheaded supermodel...?
Wow, I'd much rather spend my comic money going into the tavern next door and drinking it away and playing Vdieo poker and kissing my money goodbye on slowly poisoning my character and body then read another page of this brand new day trash.
10-2-08 I just put a bunch of stuff on eBay including a numbered Super Skrull Illuminati and a CoG Galactus. Check it out.

in the World of today geeks can have girlfriends. But Geeks without money: No way.
