At the end of the Heroes Reborn series the Bucky from that world went through the Negative Zone and ended up in the regular MU. Is it likely that she will end up being the new Cap's sidekick? Thoughts?

Ya know, your post just reminded me of something my fiance said. She isn't a huge Captain America fan but she knows all about Civil War and the death of Cap. She had what I thought would be a great idea...and you mentioning the female Bucky thing just made her idea ten times cooler.

She simply said "Wouldnt it be cool if the new Captain America was a woman instead of a guy?"

After the idea rolled around in my head I started liking her idea more and more. Anywho, It's possible the female Bucky will resurface as the new Captain America's side kick.

I think it would be cooler to have a meltingpot Cap.

Like say that Cap had a illigitimate child during WWII, and the Super Soldier Serum passed on to his kid. And the bloodline of Cap all had the serum in them. And as time went on, the bloodline spread between races.

Fast Forward to the future. Imagine a Captain America who was ignorant that his ancestor was Steve Rogers, but has a incredibly divearse family. If he is going to be the symbol of America, he shouldn't be blond haired, and blue eyed*.

If they're was going to be woman version of a well known male character, I think a female Punisher from the Gulf Wars would rock. No trenchcoat, or anything like that. Buzzcut, dogtags, and the punisher skull as a tattoo on her shoulder.


*But if he's truly going to be a sytmbol of America, 56% of him should be obease.

Although a better question might be; 'Did anyone pay attention to her to begin with?'.

They'd never do it, but I think it'd be an awesome twist.

You know...I like that idea a lot. AE was my favorite superhero that day...I mean how often does a D lister get to kick the snot out of an A list villain?

I would've loved to see Josiah X (from the criminally underrated THE CREW miniseries) get the nod.
