New X-Men #46 - Rated 8 - Lots of fighting and death etc. And it would seem Sinister was killed cause Ravenheld him down to touch skin with Rogue. Also she touches the baby to Rogue which is supposed toheal her but it doesnt. Gambit is appalled that RAven thinks Rogue would be okay with a babys life to save her own. The baby is fine though. Prof X shows up and takes the kid and gives it to Cable who turns to find Bishop waiting. Uh oh. And oh yea the X-men are fighting and X-force is fighitng, and New X arrives with the Pred-X in tow due to it attackign them at the mansion (btw Armor made her appearance which means Kitty is like the only one MIA Uh oh)

Cable/Deadpool #49 - Rated 9 - Hilarious as always. Wade and friends go to the Savage Land to find some tech Magneto left there but run into Brainchild, the mutates, and Kazar. DP at his best.

Wolvie: Origin #21 - Rated 7 - Picked this up for Deadpool. Im not keen othe art, not good for superhero stuff.. And I dont think Way has DP's attitude down exactly. Really Way and Dillion shouldnt do superheroes IMO. Well Way is just boring anyways. Anyways DP is hired to kill Wolvie. DP plans things out to things such as: make piano fall on Wolvie. Eh. Oh yea, New DP series startingup soon, withthe same writing/art team. Sigh. It will be a quick death.

So they ARE turning rogue evil!! This is gonna be real interesting soon.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that you did. I always had a feeling that they would turn her evil though. the only way mystique can be with her is to make her reliant upon her again. With her so messed up now this is the perfect opportunity.

I don't think they are. Mike Carey loves her too much. Plus, X-Men: Legacy focuses on Rogue, Gambit, Xavier, and Magneto.

But you never know with Marvel. The killed Steve Rogers and un-married Peter Parker and Mary Jane.

Okay maybe not. She does need focus though. I mean she used to be one tough mama. Although she did absorb sinister. His mind is floating in there with hers.....would it be a stretch for him to take over?

I would like to see that happen, but just have Gambit far, far away from her...lol.

As most people know I'm not a big fan of Rogue (probably more jealousy because she gets a writer who likes the character and wants to make her better and Gambit gets Milligan making him Deathbit), but I think if they get a writer who writes both independently and likes both, I can't see why Marvel wouldn't do what DC did with Ollie and Dinah and just have those two get hitched and work together on a team like Liberty Belle and Hourman.

That would be cool. If it could ever happen. Those two are obviously made for each other yet writers seem to think it is awesome to tear them apart.

Also if they can bring back Gambit's ability to charge kinetic energy through the air that would be cool to. I just loved how in one issue he threatened mystique's head (or something on her) with it. classic!!

No review for Spider-Man? Isn't everyone reading this though?

Oh well. Amazing Spider-Man #547 opens with Peter giving Jonah mouth-to-mouth. JJJ is brought to the hospital and his wife Marla is so distraught that she uses her power of attorney to get rid of the Bugle. The crook who took Peter's web shooter figures out what it is and uses it to mug people. Before he does, he puts a spider tracer on a mobster by accident, and realizes far too late that the wallet he sold had the identity of Spider-Man in it. Spider-Man follows the other tracer to rescue the mobster from Mr. Negative who is extracting his blood to use in a toxic gas designed to wipe out the Maggia from a formula derived from the Tablet of Life and Time's evil brother, the Tablet of Death and Entropy. I have no idea the Incans (or whoever) knew what Entropy is, but Spidey smashes the tablet and Mr. Negative runs off with a written copy of the formula. Spidey goes to warn the mobsters, finding out where they were from the one he just saved, and is caught in the toxic gas that seems to have killed everyone. Overall it was a good issue, though I don't know why you'd need a special tablet to make toxic gas. Also, the Maggia talking about the Hood was a nice touch as well.

I don't think Rogue's turning evil. If anything, my guess is that the baby "cleansed" her and that she'll lose all the abilities and memories she's ever absorbed. (Which would actually be kind of cool.)

I hate that they killed Sinister - I mean really, really hate it - but I have to admit, that was a pretty cool and convincing way to do it. The guy's almost impossible to kill and I just couldn't see Mystique or Gambit being able to do it, but that was pretty cool.

Also, pretty interesting that Mystique and Gambit apparently had this planned all the way back to some point in Milligan's run. It's a retcon to be sure, but one that actually provides an interesting motivation for Gambit to become a Horseman (as opposed to the lame original one.)

I'm still not sure what the end game is here, though. Apparently the baby has powers.... but what are they exactly?

Also - as a huge Marauders fan - I'm guessing they're actually going to die now since Sinister isn't around to resurrect them....

I take it Lady mastermind is dead then? I know wolvie stabbed her, but she's so cool I was hoping she wouldn't die.

Wow!! Sinister REALLY dead. I still can't believe it. Here's hoping he made a clone of himself!!

I know!! When you're working with a known traitor a guy as smart as sinister always has a backup plan.
