Can i use vault and manuever (was revealed in critical hit) together?
Here is what manuever says:
Choose a character
When the character makes a close combat attack against a target opposing character, after the attack is resolved, put the target in any unoccuipied square adjacent to the character.
So can I use vault in combination with this?
If i have to due to wording, which one would i have to do first?
After the character resolves a close combat action, it may be placed in any square in which it may legally be placed adjacent to a target of the action at the same elevation as the target.
So, I would think that you COULD use them together, and choose the order they take place, whichever benefits most. (Use it to get out of someone's range or LOF for instance)
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Yeah, I thought of this too. You could Vault over someone to the other side of them, and then throw them on the other side of you. Effectively moving them away from their position by two squares. This would be funny to do to a cuckoo team.

Interesting that Vault specifically references elevation, but Maneuver does not. One could extrapolate that this means Maneuver allows you to effectively hurl people off of buildings (or perhaps heave them onto rooftops). I look forward to trying this with Low Gravity in play.
A musing... Spiderman (I'm sure at least one will qualify), with Vault, Maneuver, Stunning Blow, Knockdown and copying Monster Society of Evil, with Low Gravity in play on the Galactus Rooftop map. I have no idea if it would be effective, but it would be fun to watch.
I was given rep for my screen name alone! Now I feel all warm inside

I would wonder more if the target were to be taken off of elevated terrain or from soaring to grounded (Close combat attack from a figure with L/C or Giant/Collosal) Would they take damage as if they were knocked back/Earthbound?
Edit: I just realized that "Earthbound" and "soaring" are going to be a moot point with this set
You make a good point, Ignatz Mouse. I concur. But the different language could, I imagine, be used to launch a needlessly convoluted semantic argument that this might work.
Hmm... further amusement. I look forward to using Vault/Maneuver in conjunction with Flurry or Knockdown, just to effectively drag someone 4 squares closer to the rest of my team.
And as much as I liked soaring, I'm glad they've saved me the headache of contemplating how this would interact with Soaring and Divebombing characters near an Aerial Baffler.

No, Earthbound will be completely valid.... it makes giants not giants and fliers not fliers. The only change that the new rule affects with Earthbound is that soaring figs can't gain Earthbound to fall and take a click (since there is no more soaring).
But I would say "pulling" a fig from elevated wouldn't give them a click because the rules say they would only take a click if they were KBd off a roof... and neither Manuever or Vault use KB.

Well Earthbound won't really be moot, as it will still determine if a fig can carry or be carried.
Dang, beat to the punch

Unless the card has a damage symbol requirement for the target... I would say yes. LOL!

[re-reads feat script, sees no power requirements]
............ Yeah, she could. ROFL!!!!
(.....and she doesn't need a SUCCESSFUL attack on him? Wow...)
