Lots of damage reduction, self-healing, and offensive capabilities.
The special powers are fantastic, but VENGEANCE is the one that can really turn the tables as he can mimic the damage value of his target. This means that if he's losing a fight, things get even pretty quickly. Plus it makes him a secret weapon against colossals such as Galactus.
Something to be said for a piece that makes you prefer to use it over a colossal that's the same guy. Golden Age JSA teams just got a ton scarier. Say hello rookie Wildcat, Sandman, old Carter Hall LE, and Rookie Green Lantern. Meet your new 19 defense partner.
Flat out awesome figure. His biggest problem: that his massive and sorta unwieldy sculpt makes it a bit hard to read his dial.
There's just so much potential here. Charge in with heavy objects 2 turns in a row without taking pushing damage, unoutwitable imperv, blast for 4-5 damage from range 2 turns in a row, 18-19 DV makes him another Jakeem Thunder for JSA teams... he's just got so much going for him. Throw on Repulsor Shields and he's good to go, really. Auto regen could be worthwhile too just in case.
it's the mighty spectre!!!! move & attack or phasing + flight + giant + great numbers + JSA!!!! add inside info to deal it out to some detectives!!! sculpt is incredible!!! way to go WK!!!
Spectre is a really good piece; quite powerful! A wide variety of abilities that makes him who he is; and a great support piece on his first 3 clicks with JSA members, awesome!!! AND QUINTESSENCE!!!
