if my green lantern is adjacent to 2 of my opponent's chracters, can i dual target. i would think not. here's why:
G=Green Lantern
O=Opposing Fig
X=Open terrain
OXXXX
XXXXX
XXGOX
In this situation my GL cannot shoot the opposing figure in the upper left because he is adjacent to another opponent. Should that be any different than this:
XGX
OXO
I would think that if he wants to attack someone it has to be one of these to characters and not both(assuming he doesn't roll to break for RS).

Thanks in advance.
He can absolutely target 2 characters that are adjacent to him. The rule is that he cannot fire out of adjacency...since both characters are adjacent, he isn't firing out of adjacency. (Assuming that he can draw Line of FIre to both characters...)
Well, I AM pretty awesome.
An understanding of the law of large numbers leads to a realization that what appear to be fantastic improbabilities are not remarkable at all but, merely to be expected.
Ranged Combat Attacks Targeting Hovering Characters hovering characters can make ranged combat attacks against adjacent opposing characters; however, hovering characters can't make ranged combat attacks against nonadjacent characters when the hovering character is adjacent to an opposing character.
In your question, both are adjacent, so he can fire away. I don't have the most recent rulebook that removes the distinction between hovering and soaring, but I would imagine it is a similarly worded passage.
