Other than the Judas Contract (which I recently picked up), X-Men and Teen Titans (which I own) and Johns' run on the current Titans title (which I was on for his entire run), what trades would you long time Titans readers recommend I read?
I would love to get my hands on Graduation Day...but what else?
1/6th of the Brothers Prob. '19-'20 Season: 15-13(8 events) 2 wins, 2nd XDPS PR 9-7, 7th SOC
Anything thats from the Wolfman/Perez run!
Honestly other than the current series, and the Wolfman/Perez run, theres not much solid Titans stuffs.
The LSH/Titans mini was so-sol, the Jurgens run on Teen Titans was alright, and the Titans book that was launched by Devin Grayson and Mark Buckingham started off well but became pretty boring pretty fast.
And I don't think any of that stuff is in trade except for the Titans/LSH...
Theres a reason that the aforementioned were all canceled....
I've found that the current Titans book has really managed to keep on track even with Geoff Johns gone.
It initially was a little shaky, but with McKeever on board the books really gotten great again!
Before Teen Titans was re-launched, there was this gem of a series called Young Justice, written by Peter David. The core members of the team were Superboy, Robin, and Impulse. I loved reading it, but have found that it is an often underrated and overlooked series. Anyhow, the characters that remained after Young Justice was retired were incorporated into Geoff Johns' Teen Titans series. I highly recommend that you track down back issues of YJ, which are usually inexpensive and still very fun to read.
(Other than that, the 1980's Perez/Wolfman New Teen Titans have been collected in DC Archives editions. That is one of my most favorite comic series of all time.)

In all honesty I personally can't recommend Young Justice 100%, but the JLA/Titans cross over was indeed a solid read.
My 1st main problem with Young Justice, is really the name.
"Young Justice"?
Really?
And thats actually what they called themselves!
The series had some great moments to be sure, but it was merely so-so.
Its worth picking up if you're a fan of Snapper Carr though!
There are two volumes in the Showcase series that collects the early Titans adventures (from their first appearance in The Brave and the Bold forward) and that is a good place to start. Bob Haney at his 1960s best.
The best two titans trades, pre-Johns, are The Judas Contact and Who is Donna Troy?. The later has the single best issue of the Wolfman/Perez series, #38 (which gives the trade its name), and the former is one of the best multi-part stories of the 1980s, hands down. Action, drama, angst, lots of violence, the origin of Deathstroke, betrayal, death, and lots of HIVE troopers getting the snot kicked out of them. Good fun for the whole family.
