Tiny Titans 1 & 2 - Rated 9 - Awesome stuff. Really. It has in-jokes that adult TT readers will get and it's just a plain fun/funny comic.
CD #5 -Rated 4 - So yea that world goes to poop and we learn it's the beginning of Kamahdi the Last Boys world. And for some reason the heroes from the main Earth teleport to another dimension... carrying the disease...? ugh. Oh yea Una died and all was well
Teen Titans #57 - Rated 7.5 - 3 of the Terror Titans attack the tower while Rose is more or less the only hero at home. She kicks thier butts. And then when it looks like shes going to lose she blows up a gas main or something. Dead? Hope not. Meanwhile Robin and Cassie are talking about Rose and how she's to dangerous when they get a call the tower blowd up real good. A better issue from McKeever
Superman All Star #10 - Rated 8 - While i liked it a lot i had a problem with Superman being the real worlds (our world) "god". Superman made his own universe and it becomes "us" at the end we see the comic hero Superman being invented. Anyways in the main story Superman is still dying. He frees the Kandorians onto Mars. Etc etc good stuff.
FvJvA #6 - Rated 7 - Action scnes needed work. Would have been better on teh big screen. The all fight. The spell to open the vortex opens and Freddy is sucked in. Jason is frozen in the lake with the book. Ash gets the girl. Fun series.
Best issue of Blue Beetle yet!!! The Reach go down, hard, thanks to Jamie and some help in the form of Guy Gardner (Best line in the book, as always, to Jamie's little sister "That's right, baby girl... I'm the crazy one."), Ice, Fire, and Booster Gold, who are all apparently there to help out because Jamie put the word out through Oracle to Batman for assistance. BOOK OF THE WEEK. PERIOD.
Edit: Oh, and "Khaji Da" (what Dan Garret used to say to activate his powers)... that's the Scarab's name. And who tells us this? The Scarab.
Next Issue - All Spanish, but new story arc.

Got to agree the book of the week.....As for the Spanish issue I really hope they have a translation or something...Considering I don't read Spanish.
Yeah, I'd give Blue Beetle a 10 for this week. The best comic book I've read in a long while. If there are people out there not reading this, you are missing aout.
And the next issue #26 (the all Spanish issue) will come with a translation script.
Legion of Super-Heroes #40 - Rated 8 - Jim Shooter has the Legion feeling like the Legion again! After a craptastical start (Dream Girl is dead and living in Brainiac's dreams....ugh), this title is feeling more like the Legion of old with the multi-team missions and inter-personal conflicts. MUCH better story telling since Shooter signed on and the art has been great IMHO.
Blue Beetle #25 - Rated 10 - See previous post. Khaji Da!
CTFC #5 - Rated 2 - I've been a supporter of this series from the start and have genuinely enjoyed EVERY issue up until the last two. Buddy Blank monologing for TWO WHOLE ISSUES was horrible. And SPOILER Una dies by being eaten by man-rats???!!! That was far and away the worst scene ever inked to paper. Luckily the Buddy Blank/Kamandi portion is over (hopefully).
Green Lantern #29 - Rated 7 - The whole "here's my secret origin" seems a bit forced. But if Johns can pull this off and make it a new spin on Hal, I'm all for it. The best part of the issue is the Abin Sur sequence. Bring on the Blackest Night baby!
Blue Beetle #25 (AKA The best Blue Beetle issue evah!)
Milagro: "I know you. My brother calls you the crazy one."
Guy Gardner: "That's right, baby girl. I'm the crazy one."

Anyone else catch that Hal and John get into a barfight with each other?

I really wanted to give it a 10... but I reserve that for stuff that's gonna be compared to Watchmen someday. And, as much as I love Blue Beetle (and this arc was AMAZING)... it ain't quite there.

Because Blue Beetle is Mexican-American, and he's taking his girlfriend (Traci 13)to his family reunion where everyone speaks Spanish but her.
Should be great.
Please don't use [Ethnic race]-American, it's insulting. You're either an American or you're not. Sorry that's one of my pet peeves. Jaime is Hispanic, and nothing wrong about that, my wife is of Latin descent (Ecuador). She's Naturalized and I don't call her an Ecuadorian-American, she just a plain American.
I agree Blue Beetle was the best read this week, I hope next issue is just a resting/one shot story I don't want Rogers to leave. I speak fluent spanish so it should be a fun issue.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.
But I do gotta say... what a turn around, huh? If you would have told me after Infinite Crisis that BLUE BEETLE would be one of DC's best comics, I would've told you that you were crazy.
Hell, I remember when everyone was complaining that they killed Ted Kord just so they could put a (just for waaagh1... ) "Latino" character in the DCU, and put Jamie right up there with Jason Rusch as Firestorm, and Lesbian Batwoman.
"He'll be gone in a year" everyone said, "and then Ted will come back."
Well, Ted's back in Booster Gold (even though I swear to you, I think they're going to kill him again just to rub it in to JLI fans), and Jamie? Well, he's got one of the most consistently good books DC has put out in ages. I don't think I'd give a single issue less than a 7.
Man. Why is everyone obsessed with the Silver Age again?

LoL! Well yeah the June solicits are out and Booster has to make a choice to save time, I guess Ted's gonna take one for the team....again.

Ok I like the Watchmen myself.....But you really shouldn't compare a book based off one book. You missing the enjoyment of a book if you are actualy doing this.
