"Are you sure this is going to work Mr. Rankin? I've run raids on this type of facility before, but I've never met Forge or Nocturne, and this Morph seems to know nothing about me..." Clarice Ferguson whispered to Mimic.
"Don't worry Clarice. I would trust the Forge from my reality with my life, and if Nocturne and Morph have worked with who they say they've worked with, I certainly trust them. We'll get through this. We'll get home." Calvin Rankin said simply.
Blinking in, Morph Nocturne and Forge step aside, waving as Blink Mimic and Sunfire teleport away.
Teleporting a safe distance away, Mimic, Blink and Sunfire stop to discuss their battle plan.
"Allright, assuming Morph and Nocturne succeed in their mission, we should have a window of opportunity where we can get in and out of the facility relatively unharmed. From the schematics Forge gave me, I think we'll be able to do this." Mimic stated, his years of leadership showing.
"Oh, yeah! I've done hundreds of missions like this! Me and Mr. Creed used to rescue people all the time! We've rescued people from Maximus and his Inhuman Hordes, Sinister, Holocaust and even straight from the clutches of Apocalypse himself!!" Clarice said, jubilant in finding something familiar to her.
"Wow, even with all my time with the X-Men, I never had to go toe to toe with Apocalypse....Cyclops and Jean used to tell horror stories about that guy..." Sunfire chimed in.
"Cyclops and Jean? Who're they?" Clarice asked innocently, showing just how little she knew about these worlds.
"I'll fill you in later, don't worry." Mimic said, "It's time to get going. They should be ready for us now."
It was time. Irregardless of the first teams success or failure, they had to make the attempt. Teleporting down into a small building in the center of the facility, they stood, the energy signature of Clarice's blink swirling about their feet.
The camp looked like a small housing community, but with flood lights, robotic gurads patroling the streets. Suddenly the alarmed blared. The first team hadn't succeded. Who knows what they'd be up against. Stealth was no longer an option, they headed for the first building looking for any prisoners they could freee quickly.
An initial salvo of robotic guards attacked them. With an unexpected flourish of teamwork, the newly formed Exiles fought back! Heading the attack, Mimic and Sunfire flew through, blanketing the area in optic blasts and atomic flames! Spiraling in and out, the robots had no time to adjust, and were quickly overcome! Suddenly, from high above head, a duo of giant lasers got the drop on the two heroes, their intense energies hurtling toward them!
In the blink of an eye, a portal appeared in front of the spandex clad warriors, absorbing the blasts, and diverting them directly into the opposing lasers that had just unleashed them! They exploded, rocking the buildings to their core!
"Halt!" came a voice,"I've had enough of this chaos and tomfoolery!"
They looked around to see the real security of the camp. The cyborg Donald Pierce, and his personal guard. All dressed to the nines, they looked more like they were going to the opera then secruity.
Two identical blondes looked at each other, than giggled. "Oh sister, this should be rather fun. Maybe they'll let us keep the tall blonde one when we're done."
"Oh he'd like that, wouldn't you Calvin?" the other blonde girl said.
"Spare us the time and effort, and surrender now." Donald said with boredom, "This pointless."
"I don't really think that's an option," Blink said, her timid naivity gone, and the hardened warrior shinning through

2) You can try to find a mutant prisoner in each of the 5 houses. Move a Exile adjacent to a house. Once given a power action, you can roll one dice, on the result of a 5 or a 6, you find a prisoner (and Blink teleports them automatically out of danger). You get 1-TAP for each mutant found. (One try per each house).

heh, allrighty. I never played vision, so if i got to choose, i would prolly have chosen you (I think me and choon have played at least twice now...possibly 3). Just like a little spice in my gaming life

"Allright Blink, if you need I can give you a sit rep on who we're facing here. Basically, we've got a cyborg, twin psychics and someone who appears to be Pete Wisdom, if i can tell anything from the cloud of smoke around his head. He uses 'hot knives', that could really do a number on us. The twins seem to be the most dangerous at this juncture. Those girls represent the biggest threat here. We should take them out first. Wanna blink me ahead?" Mimic announced to Blink and Sunfire.
