God Such a Good Issue, I really love Warren Ellis's thunderbolts

It was so awesome to see Norman suit up again.

Glad somebody agrees. Man it was awesome seeing Norman fly around again. The swordsman gripped with fear was priceless!!

Classic I believe they hinted it was the same one he wore when he killed Gwen.

Unfortunately, that's not gonna happen. He's said he plans on working on some of his own stuff instead.

Not classic. Not cape. Brown shoulder and kneepads. Very armored look to it. A bag on both sides for bombs. No purple underwear piece. Just green pants up to the belt, and then the purple shirt. It's pretty much a new design, although he talks about wearing it before.

He does mention killing Gwen, but not in relation to the costume. It's one of the best parts of the issue. He's talking to himself, and he says - "Good old Norman. He'll bail us out. He'll save the day. He'll be the hero. Norman will make the hard choices. Norman has no feelings. Norman will make the girl pregnant and then snap her neck in public. Norman won't mind. Norman will do what it takes."

Although I have to wonder, after OMD, did Norman ever do any of that? If nobody except Pete knows his secret ID, why did Norman knock Gwen up? Why did he kill her? How is Gwen related to Spider-Man, if you don't know Spider-Man is Peter, and never did know this? ...sigh... it's magic, right? They don't have to explain it, even if it makes no sense.

Maybe Norman's knowledge was not effected

he looks almost exactly like the FF sculpt of Green Goblin

Mephisto is too scared of Norman freakin' Osborne to mess with his reality.

The FF sculpt is the classic costume. The outfit from T-bolts #120 is similar, but with some differences.

So are chances high we'll get Spidey and Norman in Secret Invasion . . . ?

I Appreciate your attention to detail here, I just wasnt paying much mind to the little extras.

to be fair, I would say that IS the classic custume with extra leather pads and straps on it.

Definitely Spidey I'd think. I doubt we'll get any of the Thunderbolts. Because it would be too awesome. WizKids would never do it

.... and the Thunderbolts Issues involving Secret Invasion wont come out until AFTER SI is released.


I just hope the series is still good with new writers.


I think the last two one-shots were decent but I really was not thrilled with Desperate measures or Breaking point.
