When Mutant Mayhem came out was when I first heard of Deadpool(sadly enough). Friend of mine whom was a judge played in the booster draft back then,when I couldnt make it n they needed another player. And won me the Le Wade Wilson,which afterwards got me wanting to read up on him. Hince Cable&Deadpool comics,got me loving the goofball. :P With that said,I'm on a conquest to collect all the '97 Deadpool comics..all 69ishes.

I think I have one or two issues of that run in good condition. I'd have to check. He's a fun character, but I couldn't get into him in his own title. I liked him in Cable & Deadpool because of all the supporting characters for him to play off of.

Deadpool had even more supporting characters when he WASN'T part of Cable/Deadpool comic. Granted they weren't as well known, but who didn't like Blind Al?

I like the Deadpool/Death annual where Thanos vows to kill Deadpool. It's the craziest rivalry ever.

Yeah I got all 4 of the 2 mini series,when I picked up Deadpool Classic
And as of now,I'm on issue 6 og his 69 issue series. Gotta love Blind Al,thus far issue 6 was the funniest.

I wasn't even aware Deadpool had a '97 comic, haha.

Almost up to being 1/4th in the series Just purchased the Deadpool/Dare Devil annual,along with ishes 13-15 I think. Gotta love Typhoid Mary,ha! Thus far the issue with Vamp was my favorite,bout cracked up reading it.

Is anybody reading the current run of Wolvie Origins? It apparently has the "First Appearance" of Deadpool, but I haven't picked it up (yet?) so I don't know if it's any good.

Also, if you want "classic" Pool, don't forget to try to grab New Mutants #98(ish) for his 1st appearance, and the start of this wonderful character we all (most of us) love!

Personally, I *hated* the T-Ray storyline/arc, but that was just me, I mostly loved all the books other than that!

The Agent X series was great too. And I liked the Taskmaster mini-series they did by the same crew. Personally I loved the redesign of Taskmaster and I'm sad to see him back to his old costume, classic it may be, the updated look is much better.

You have about five months collect Deadpool's older ones, since he's getting his own series later this year (so they might become a priority), if you want to believe Wolverine: Origins #25. It said Deadpool #1 is coming in December (or November, end of the year anyways).

I think I'm missing an issue or two out of my own Deadpool run.

Have fun with it, it's total aces.

As far as the new Deadpool series... I haven't been able to get behind anything Daniel Way has written. I read some of his Wolverine to see Deadpool, and the man just doesn't get how to write Deadpool.

Just read issue 12 of the 97 series,was pretty good. I can prob get close to all 69 by then. And screw a Cable/Deadpool duo phill,gimme one of the following:
Deadpool/Weasel duo
Deadpool/Bob(Agent of Hydra) duo
or even a Deadpool/Siryn duo
