So, in another inspiration-filled moment I followed the footsteps of Myke yet again and created Beast. I couldn't figure out what he used for the head, so I ended up sculpting my own! It was the first facial sculpt for me and yeah... there's a LOT of putty on this guy;

your painting is what in my opinion makes yours so much better!! though i do have two complaints one being i wish the pics were more close up so we could see the amazing detail B^) and the second is that left hand... it looks like there is no highlights on it and it was just painted a single blue color which kinda makes it look like.. i don't know really B^) but other than that one had this mod is amazing!!! i wish my paint jobs were half that good B^)

I was hoping for 70's Avengers version but this is awesome anyways.

The left hand was me crossing the finish line for the mod and realizing that that one little piece didn't come out as planned. Call me lazy, but after all that putty work and sculpting, I was like "forget it - it's done. Now let's get him on the battlefield for Sunday's game!"

Well, it looks like the 'Month of X' is over. Beast makes mod #7 in a month's time and I almost had 8, but the putty work on Beast just simply took too long.

It does feel like that. It seems that everytime I do a Marvel mod that has yet to be done, WK makes them within 9 months of me unveiling them. I like to think that it's mostly coincidence... but ya never know.

On the flip side, my first HC mod was Omega Red... and he came out 5 years later... so what do I know?

I have one "X" mod in progress, so once I finish that one I will post it. After that, I will probably take it easy for a while unless something just happens to inspire me...
