Fragile. And a little weak when compared to Robin, at 30 points, who has better AV and defense.
Should have some defense powers and more life to be accurate.

Nice power set though. If played correctly - like owlman. This piece could clean up.

Love the classic sculpt. Charge is a perfect representation of this Batman along with smoke clouds.

Outwit and 3 damage seems a bit too much though especially upfront.

i played this piece and hated it, did nothing and at 60 cost . made a batman team and hes lost his spot

Question on this and the whole Batman Alpha collection on the cards it is sometimes different then what the ability should be (i.e. on #004 Batman the fist color should be smoke but on the card it says the figure affter attack can move up to 2) when playing this with other figures from other sets which do you use the card ability or the color... I am still fairly new to the game and just looking for some clarification, I looked through the golden and modern player's guides and could not find anything on this

Use colors and the Standard Power and Abilities list you can download from heroclix website.

Still my least favourite Batman sculpt. 2nd least favourite of the whole HC game (1st being Potato head Cap)

Answers the question nobody asked: "what if Batman had no defenses and simply charged headlong into a fight?" This is probably the most vulnerable Batman we've been presented outside of the abysmal KC Bats in Unleashed. That said, Batman's staple "3-damage with Outwit" is here for a solid 3 clicks, and at only 60 points he's not at the forefront but is intended as a tertiary back-up whose Outwit can assist the main assault. It doesn't say "Batman" to me, but as a piece in its own right it can do something.

*sigh* Trying to make a theme team with Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 cartoon universe, the rares/SRs from set one). They're 60 points each and all have the Martial Artist keyword, so a 60-point Batman with that keyword will make a nice, round 300-point team. And out of all the Batmans that have been made, in this the fifteenth year of HeroClix, the only one that fits those criteria... is this guy.

Why couldn't they have just given World's Finest 004 Batman the Martial Artist keyword?!

You could play the FFWF Batman at his 50 point starting line instead, he has the Martial Artist keyword. The team would come in 10 points under, but that way you'd get a better Batman plus the Weapon Drop for free.
