I was wondering in everyone's opinion...who is the best/your favourite?

Please along with your vote feel free (and encouraged) to post your choice followed by a little write-up of why.

I personally like Thunderstrike the best, he's Eric Masterson and that seals the deal for me.

He also is tournament legal and cheap to field on any team, the sad part is he doesn't have Avengers and is PERFECT for Alpha Flight.

I guess he could carry an Avenger and be Merc'd.

(I'm aware I didn't add Ultimates Thor, incase anyone was going to ask)

he is one of the best pieces i have seen

The rookie from Supernova makes a nice bare bones Thor that charges into battle and can toss his hammer a short distance.

Add to that an Experienced that fights as mostly a ranged piece to differentiate from the rookie brick . . .

And the Veteran that's a powerhouse that starts with running shot and then gets charge (just like Thor should . . .).

Yeah, Supernova REV takes the cake. Donald Blake is neat, but it's a tough choice between activation click or powerhouse.

We need a new Beta Ray Bill though, and Thunderstrike could do better . . .

He's not in regular Thor continuity...he's part of the Ultimate Marvel Universe instead of just regular...so I didn't put him as part of the poll

I agree, we need another Beta Ray Bill. Is there a reason why the Ultimate Thor isn't on that list? He is my favorite byfar.

I voted Supernova REV, have all 3, never played any of them... but I know they're closer than any of the other thor figs I have including BR bill, old sucky thor rev and even ultimates thor.

Can't wait for Thor to get the SP treatment.

I think the main reason why Ultimates Thor wasn't put on the list is because he knew that Ultimates Thor would win by a landslide and so he didn't include Ultimates in hopes that it'll be a closer poll then if Ultimates was there.

No, he didn't include Ult. Thor because he was looking for in-continuity Thors. I went with the Supernova REV line. They are all good, great with a little help. I thought with Beta Ray Bill being in Alpha Flight we might see him soon, but doesn't look like it now.

I figure if they make him in there we may get some more legal Alpha Flight members too, so I'm really hoping.

I went with Doctor Donald Blake, the activation click can be annoying, however we do have phone boothes now. (And even then, its one of the better activation clicks....)

After that click he's a bit of a... well... god. Plus he also fits neatly between the big threat of the Veteran and the slightly more cost conscious Experienced. (Only with better Defense Values then either...)

Has anyone used the Dr. Blake activation click? I mean actually gotten off a support roll with him . Mad reps if you got a story where the Dr. Blake support roll was a game breaking save!!!!

Vet Supernova Thor!

A clix-buddy did a little overhaulin' on the sculpt (new paint job, added some lightning, etc.) and gave me this wonderful figure as a birthday present.

Apart from that it would have been the Ult Thor, because I loved the character in the comics.

I was very dissapointed with Mighty Thor. The defense values are just ridiculous, IMO. The armor alone without a god wearing it would deserve a 16. With Thor inside it should be an 18. Especially if Ben Grimm can have an 18...

I agree with the Defense value- if it was an 18, that fig would be off the charts (although, for almost 300 points, it had better be!). I don't have any of the other Thor characters, so I don't know exactly how they are. But I love the sculpt, I love the power cosmic, and his attack/damage values are awesome.

Sure. IMO, they should have made him straight 300 pts, with the 14 pts going to his defense values.

He can't play the feat that came with him (Thundering Blow, 20 pts) anyway in a 300 pts game, so what's the point in making im 286 pts? It's too bad the feat won't help him as a one man army, anyway. It would have been nice to have an "out of the box" Thor team/force as this Con ex LE.

I still play Mighty Thor (he's just too cool, not to), but when I do, I know it's going to be very unlikely he sees the end of the game, even with Shellhead.
