Wolverine: 1st Class #4 - Rated 7 -Part 2 of the Wundergore story. Logan fled from battle for no reason? Iknow he thought he had no more rages but that seemed weak. But yea good guys win hurrah. Still feels like old time good x-men.
Uncanny X #499 - Rated 7 - Scott fends off the "baddies" while Emma breaks down the illusions. Godo guys win, kind of anti-climatic. Looks liek the X-men might have a new home in San Fran.
Ms. Marvel #28 - Rated 8 - It was really fun reading an issue where Ms. Marvel just has fun unleashing herself. She's a warrior and just lets it all go and whoops Skrull rear.
Runaways #30 - Rated 8 - I hate to say it but its been so mong between issues I forgot whos fighting who. Anyways the team reforms and heads back to the future. Taking the new little girl with them but leaving the girl who loves Victor. Shes to scared to go. As we seee she regrets it her whole life. I hope her and Victor get a happy ending one day. He should go back in time to her or something.
Runaways/YA SI: #1 - Rated 8 - Immediatly following Runaways 30, the team is getting some sites in before heading back to LA when the Skrull invasion happens. They flee but Xavin stays to help out Hulkling who the Skrulls are trying to kill.
YA: Hawkeye #6 - Rated 8 - New Hawkeye meets old and has boy probs. lint gives his approval after testing her and she fixes her probs with Patriot. All good.
New Avengers #40 - Rated 7 - We see when Spider-Woman was switched (When she went to Hydra to get her powers back). And we see more behind the scenes stuff for various events that are really allt eh skrulls doing. Issue ends with Wanda making HoM.
Mighty Avengers #15 - Rated 7 - We see when Hank was switched. He hooks up with some young woman and of course he blabs to her about everything, of course she's a skrull.
Ult Spidy #123 - Rated 6.5 - Venom talks to and eats various people. Tellign them how hard it is being him and Peter is really a bad guy blah blah boo hoo.
Wow thats...wait...isnt that illegal? "Hey I have boy problems, Ill sleep with a 30 year old man to sort them out so I can get back with my black captain america." What is it with Hawkeyes having Captain America complexs?
Finally Runaways is done thank you Wheadon for damn near killing it, I wish Buffy and Dollyhouse writers block on you now for it.
But SI Run/YA starts out pretty well.
T-Bolts: Speedball is back...sorta, he got his powers back and some more out look of his life and him and Samson along with the mystery member fight to save the base. Samsons greatful Moonstone gave him a reason to beat him but we now have an understanding about how powerful Robbie is. O and the Goblin/Songbird fight and dialgoue IS FANTASTIC!!! Now if only we could have it on time.
Marvel Adventures; Seperate stories with Blade, Machine Man, and Deadpool. So its a fun read for me at least.
Avengers Init: Triathalon is now the 3D Man, and he sees through to a skrull with his visor in his no station in Hawaii...so him and Demon Slayer (i think was his name) kill it and drops 3D off back at Hammond while he gets the non skrull hawii init to medical attention. This is where The Crusader who realizes theres already a skrull there fears what might happen if he's discovered and reveres the effects on the googles. O and theres a hint that Trauma might know Crusaders secret.
So 3-D man knows whats going on, is after the skrulls, looks to find hte trouble skrulls not realizing the good Skrull whos apart of it...yeah like that.
Testing her "skillz" at archery. That was a good insight though. If not for Speed hawkingbird/hawkeye would have had to do something for clint to give that bow back.
Thunderbolts just shows how much I love Songbird and hope she gets a new clix soon. She held her own against Goblin (shes held her own with Spidey too), but this reinforces that she is one bad mama jama. Bullseye killing those sitting ducks was awesome as well. Also looks like Bullseye may be gunning for songbird later on.
X-men Legacy was good. Sinister is a genius. Can't wait to see what Xavier/Sinister will do now.
With secret invasion....Does anyone think the queen lost her way? This could explain how skrullektra got killed so easily. The queen could indeed believe she is Jessica at this point.
X-men Legacy seems like I should be loving it, but somehow it just feels... off. Like Claremonts writing it or something.
Basically,
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Sinister planted a failsafe in the dna of Xavier, Juggernaut, Shaw and Ryking when they were kids so that if he died he could take over their bodies to resurrect himself. Ryking is dead, Juggernauts helmets protecting him, Shaw's father built the Chronus machine to protect him, so Xavier's the only one vulnerable. The Black womb lady has been trying to kill Xavier because she knows about SInister's plan; she shoots him in the stomach four or five times and leaves him for dead. Gambit and Shaw make a temporary alliance to try to save Xavier; issue ends with Xavier allowing Sinister to take him over so he can survive the bullet wounds (although he clearly has plans to get rid of Sinister's influence.
Like I said, sounds potentially interesting, but somehow it just doesn't seem to fit.

Probably because of the big retcon issue. His failsafe extends to the immortal lady as well as she was "supposedly" the first subject. I do wonder if the Marauders are made from that machine though.

She was playing mind games with Tony, trying to convince him that he was really a Skrull. That doesn't sound like losing her way to me.
HCFL Teams: The All-New, All-Different X-Men and the Justice Society of America
Ms. Marvel #28 - Rated 8 - It was really fun reading an issue where Ms. Marvel just has fun unleashing herself. She's a warrior and just lets it all go and whoops Skrull rear.
The only book I've read so far this week and I wasn't overly impressed. The writing was only okay for Reed, but I think a lot of that might have to do with being forced to work with the whole SI crossover.
I'm very unimpressed with the art, though. Take an anatomy class so you know where muscles are and what they look like already. Just because you throw a mess of bumps and lines on the body doesn't mean it looks like a real person's musculature. It's been a few issues with this new artist and I'm not seeing much improvement. It's annoying me enough that I'm seriously considering dropping the title.
I'd give it a 6, but bad anatomy is one of my sticking points so that may be lower than others would rate it.
"New Hawkeye meets old and has boy probs. lint gives his approval after testing her"
Im sorry, but Hawkeye is having a problem with boys, so clint gives her a test drive and then his seal of approval.
Thats just how it sounded when I read it.
Ew. The more I ready that part, the dirtier it sounds.
Actually, I enjoyed Runaways #30, mostly because Chase got those Fistigons back. And despite Whedon's ability to turn every series he works on into a snail, he still manages to make good stories and makes me love the characters I already like.

FF558 Pure AWESOMENESS! Let the streets ring with.. MILLAR DOES IT AGAIN! the twist at the end.. the dialog... its really shaping up.
Thunderbolts 121 I called the ending I knew this would happen but it was totally awesome, a great finish.. again with great dialog especially Doc, Goblin, Songbird, and Bullseye.
New Avengers 40 More Background on when JD became a Skrull, just alright
1985 Probably the best book no one reads, the description of the boys father was so accurate i almost cried.
I wanted to get the New Cap and Mighty Avengers (as well as last weeks FFSI 2) but combined with me DC wants I was over my $20 limit
Captain America #39 - The, supposed, 1950's Captain America goes into action stopping an attempt on the life of one Senator Wright and giving the public at large the impression Steve Rogers is back on the prowl and gets some to start thinking Wright is right for America.
Sin meanwhile is still mad about what Sharon Carter' friends did to her boy toy Crossbones. So she decides to assault Sharon but tables are turned and Sharon demands Sin help her escape Red Skull's compound.
Oh yeah 50's Cap also catches New Millenium Cap at home setting up an expected battle royale.
Daredevil #108 - Matt tries to convince Big Ben Donovan to use him as his appeals lawyer but turns him down. Leaving Matt with the strong impression he fears not dying for the murder of the children. Which gets even more evidence later when Donovan tries to hang himself in his cell.
Dakota North follows up on her assailant from last issue and discovers it to be a federal agent. After confronting him she goes home to find her father hanging out.
Daredevil gets some hints from Ben Urich of who possibly the real child killer is so he goes to the docks looking for him and gets himself caught in some suspicious characters radars.
