Huntress Y1 #4 - Rated 7 - Much better than the previous issue. She kilsl Mandragora but still wants the trigger man. She tracks him down but he easily beats her. He leaves for Gotham and she follows. Right to a party at Wayne Manor...
Teen Titans #60 - Rated 7.5 - I was gonna drop it but eehhh I like the characters. I just want a good story! The end of the arc as we learn that Rose is something special and her and Clock King share that temporal connection or something. He tries to recruit her but she doesnt. Well until the end cause she hears Robin and WG talking about kicking her out. oops.
Final Crisis #2 - Rated 4 - This is such weak story telling. I am ashamed of Morrison. Anyways Batman gets caught by a bad Lantern. Granny is mind conrolling people and Bats is next. Ne wGods are being killed with time traveling bullts. Barry shows up at the end. Whatever.

Eh, I am not too impressed so far. To me the story was all over the place. Maybe I am just being too picky but this issue was bad. Of course I did read it in a bad mood.
heh, really? i'm suprised by this. final crisis was great, and so far it's been much better than secret invasion, which i noticed you usually score quite high. final crisis gets more and more interesting and i find myself caring less and less about secret invasion. although the guy at my local shop had a great idea, read both final crisis and secret invasion like it was one big event! wow if batman's the world's greatest detective why hasn't he found any skrulls yet?
I have been liking final Crisis. If the goal is to say that the rules have changed, killing

Martian Manhunter and Loid Lane
is a good way to do that. So is showing that an Alpha Lantern has been corrupted by the evil gods.
Furthmore, it looked like it was

The F-Sharp bell
who attacked Jon. Which is weird.
I can't help thinking that they are going to kill a bunch of people, and then have them all come back with a little piece of black jewelry on their finger in 2009.
I admit I might care more if I really gave a carp about the New Gods.
Really? I find Final Crisis to be awful in part because I care about the New Gods
That's Turpin?
That's Sonny Sumo? (who's dead by the way)
The only way to reconcile these characters with the classic is to not reconcile these characters with the classic.
The 5th World is some weird Ultimization of the Fourth World done within the main continuity. Frakkin' awful is what it is. Especially considering how poor the storytelling has been thus far.
I'm also enjoying Final Crisis way more than SI so far. SI just seems like, yup another Skrull story but now it's one that seems to want to piss me off by saying that the characters in my favorite stories weren't actually the characters I thought they were. I'm waiting for the reveal that Cyclops and Emma have been a Skrull since New X-men sometime, completely crapping out Astonishing.
Whereas FC is starting to come together for me and I want to see where it's going.

And of course Barry's back which could be cool.

"Victim? Victim? Do you think this letter on my chest stands for AMERICA?" - you have been getting insulted by nextwave.
The main problem I have with Final Crisis is that DC's biggest characters are basically minor players in what's supposed to be a universe-spanning summer crossover.
The first third or so of the latest issue is taken up by annoying Japanese superheroes, the lame exiled Monitor, Dan Turpin, and the Mad Hatter. The Alpha Lantern that Morrison throws in has more lines and more "screen time" than either Superman or Batman in this issue. And Lex Luthor seems to have become a whiny, petulant bald guy to make Libra look more badass. (I mean, seriously, Lex Luthor--supposedly the smartest guy in the DCU, and someone who thinks about nothing except hurting Superman--has never thought about blowing up the Daily Planet?!)
And that's just this issue. Issue #1 had Martian Manhunter--one of the Big 7--go down like a chump in a couple of pages.
All of the big DC characters that we expect to see take center stage in a summer crossover--Supes, Batman, Luthor, etc.--have been reduced to bit players in Final Crisis, and instead, we get Dan Turpin, Libra, some Alpha Lantern who's probably appeared in one issue of "Green Lantern" and a bunch of other z-list characters to basically take over the story.

I have the Jack Kirby Omnibus 2 or 3 and that deals with Sunny Sumo so I know who he is. There is a lot going on and it seems tied to a lot of continuity, to me that's a fun challenge. And I think the guy beating up people is Orion, because his face started to get "ugly" as he was beating down on Mad Hatter. I don't expect things to clear up until issue 4 or 5, but I'm okay with that. And the ending got a pop out of me.
Teen Titans 60 - 7 I'm glad this story arc is over. It wasn't bad, but we've had way too many fights with other teen groups of late. I've really started to like Ravager, so it's a shame she left. I have no interest in the other terror titans, except maybe clock king, so I'm not sure I'll even pick up that series.
Trinity 4 - 8 I enjoy the series, but there just isn't enough content per issue. I don't like paying $3 for two stories that wouldn't comprise more than 1/3 of a normal issue. Venting aside, I like both of the story arcs going forward, and will continue to read.
Final Crisis - 5 It's not bad, I guess. It just feels like an elseworlds story. After reading the DC for the past year, it just doesn't seem to fit in. I have trouble enjoying the story just because it seems like its there for nothing other than to shake up the world. While change is fine, change meerly for the sake of change is just dumb.

You haven't gotten to the part with Terrible Turpin in it yet?
The ex-Monitor has forgotten his past life but sketches people from other universes, including Dr. Manhattan! (Is Watchmen becoming part of the DC Multiverse?)
Superman's eulogy for J'onn: "We'll all miss him. And pray for a resurrection." Cause you know he'll be back.
Sivana's funky car.
The attitude of the Alpha Lantern to both the Justice League and to Hal's proclivity to stay Earth-bound and not protect the rest of his sector.
The time-traveling bullet seems a bit too much like the time-traveling spear used in Seven Soldiers, so it's like Morrison's ripping himself off (or is running low on ideas).
Granny perhaps wanting to turn Batman into a New God (or at least she's smart enough to capture him first).
Terrible Turpin is Darkseid (?) or at least that's what Reverend Good seems to think. And oh, look, there's Kamandi in with the other kids.
There's no way Lois is dead. The media would've heard about it if she was.
And the Black Racer pursuing Barry with a time-traveling bullet in the vicinity.

I too liked Ravager, which is why I hated how she was being portrayed. It was earlier in the run that Ravager chose not to kill Bombshell because quote "wasn't a killer anymore."
And now she wants to kill everyone in sight? What?
who attacked john stewert, that's why he said what he did about john's right hook.
so far i think final crisis is really good, it seems like it's making something new out of the fourth world, i know some may not like this but was dc really doing anything with any of these characters until death of the new gods and countdown(both of which were terrible) came out? chances are if not for final crisis(which was written before both of those) we probably wouldn't even be seeing these characters again.
