I like Hank Pym. I don't like how he's been written since Busiek's Avengers, so I'm not even paying attention to what they're doing with Avengers anymore.
Also, Bendis declared he hated Pym before he even started Avengers. Figured it was just a matter of time.
Since when does anyone get upset over a comic "death" these days?
If trees could scream, do you think we would be so cavalier about chopping them down? I think we would, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.
..and yet one of the top grossing movies is based on a certain armored character that has gotten drunk beyond recall and smacked around Black Widow so much he amost knocked the red outta her hair...go figure.
They never said he was dead, he was beat up but didnt show him dead. He was probably then taken to the skrull homeworld to grab his memories, to copy and replace him.
So, how come you put the spoiler tag in the title when the spoiler IS the title? As a mail order reader, it really peeves me off to log in to HCR and find my comics for the week ruined by someone who couldn't be bothered to adhere to a little etiquette on the subject of spoilers...
*ARGH*
So now I have to ask moderating staff, is there any way to keep the comic book discussion threads from the front page aggregator? This sort of thing has happened more than it ought to on a site that isn't exclusively devoted to comics. If I go to Newsarama, I expect spoilage. If I go here, I expect clixkage.
I always liked Hank Pym, but I think he has been mishandled for years. Especially liked the Yellow Jacket costume. Unfortunately, or fortunately as the case may be, I stopped reading Marvel awhile ago and it was for these sort of things. The only thing I have liked in the last 10 years is The Thunderbolts and bringing back Ghost Rider(which they have since mucked up as well). Marvel has always had great characters, it is too bad the company and a lot the writers don't see that. After reading Geoff Johns's take on some characters, I realize there are no bad charcter's, just bad writers and editors.

You can always make bad characters good. It all depends on the writer. Remember, 10 years ago, Catman was a laughing stock, after Secret Six, he's a kick@## character.
I run HeroClix tournaments at Shuffle and Cut in La Habra, California. The format of each tournament will be posted here.
Hank also died a few months ago in The Initiative. That also doesn't matter because [Skrulls].
[Skrulls] is my new code for not having to write out all the stupid explanations and points for why this person may or may not be himself.

When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.
