alright let's talk Red Hulk...
so after reading #5 i have some questions and observations
1. does the red hulk have an absorbing power like sebastian shaw? it could explain his enormous durability and strength.
2. at this point i'd say he's too smart and resourceful to be Emi blonsky (yes there is still talk about that). i'm sure blonsky was no idiot but to outsmart thor and then be able to use his hammer is pretty impressive
3. when he is released as a clix, considering his resume at this point, how powerful will he actually be?

I would just like to point out that a thread marked for Rulk fans only draws no replies.

Since I don't read the title could you PLEASE explain to me how Red Hulk was able to life Thor's hammer?
I hope to God its not because he is just sooooo strong.......... as that would irritate me to no end :speechles
I'm going to hit him really, really hard with a big green boxing glove............ I'm kidding. - Hal Jordan

Hey! a response to my thread. thanks!
to answer your question:
he didn't lift up his hammer... he lifted thor up who was carrying his hammer. and once they were in zero gravity there is no up or down. also you can lift thor's hammer if you defeat him in combat. such as the case of Beta Ray Bill.

Unless there's been a change recently, you still must be worthy of wielding the hammer. Beta Ray Bill did defeat Thor, but was considered worthy of that honor as well, which is why Odin had a hammer made for him. I'm not so sure that Red Hulk would be considered as such even if he did beat Thor.

That's patently not true, as Hulk has tried multiple times in past to no success. The Destroyer (which is vastly more powerful and stronger then the Red Hulk plus WW Hulk plus Savage Hulk all together) can't lift it after having beaten Thor (and it's tried several times with several people in control of it).
You must be worthy to wield it. It has nothing to do with gravity or up/down. None of that has any bearing on it.
Whoever Red Hulk just fought, it wasn't Thor.

Obviously a skrull. Either that or Jeph Loeb is smoking crack.
At this point, I think it's 50/50 either way.

So... did this Thor just forget he has Odin powers since he just fought Rulk by hitting at him?
You're good. But I'm magic!

The problem is that a lot of new players come from the "race generation" they want to define their worth by the "skill" they posses in playing a game of toy soldiers.
You know what I was just thinking? I think that Thanos with The Gauntlet would give Rulk a run for his money. But then after Rulk is done talking smack and Thanos realizes he is way outta his league, Rulk would totally pound Thanos into nothing, I mean he is awesome.

you know your right. i forgot all about that. bill was somehow deemed worthy in that storyline to use the hammer wasn't he?
for me i want comics to be fun and exciting. i don't want the comic book world to be broken down to a science. i half-expect writers and artist to change comic book facts often. one year thor can take on anybody the next he's getting his ### whooped by the nova corps. that's just the way it is.
i've noticed alot of readers here have a problem with the Red Hulk and or jeff Loeb. to each their own. the point of this thread was to find other fans like myself and toss around ideas about the Red Hulk. one guy on HCrealms even proposed the idea that he was Emil Blonsky. oddly enough i hadn't even considered it. but hearing that i though the concept was really interesting.
anyway if there are anymore thoughts out there on the Red Hulk i'm eager to hear them.

Unless you're Chuck Norris. Then, you can wield as many hammers as you want - after roundhouse kicking their worthy owners in the head.

Thor has fought other in zero-G. At least once he lost, against Terminus, tho that was set-up witht he enchantments of the Hammer removed so Terminus could use/incorperate it and then Thor reactivated the enchantments and Terminus was defeated.
