The problem is that a lot of new players come from the "race generation" they want to define their worth by the "skill" they posses in playing a game of toy soldiers.
They had a wedding but Havok couldn't go through with it cos he loved the nurse. Lorna went totally Magneto on everyone. Uncanny X men run before they changed the team to storm etc. In the Arcs with Juggernaught as an x man.
Desperately wanting M&M SR Storm. Anyone got a spare?
When Havok first "returned", Polaris was supposedly insane from witnessing the massacre in Genosha. She immediately pressured him into marriage, but it turned out that the school nurse's son (who was the one who brought Havok's spirit back from wherever it was) had created a psychic affair between Havok and his mother, so that he had memories of them being together for years, and he dumped Polaris at the altar.
Believe it or not, it was much stupider than it even sounds. The minute Austen was gone the nurse and her son were written out and have never been heard from again. Polaris is still a little unstable, but it has more to do with Apocalypse than Genosha. And she and Havok got back together, with no mention of the whole ridiculous psychic memory implants thing or teh botched wedding.
Thing is, there's a clix tournament coming up here, where we're supposed to build a 500 point team with at least 7 characters, where everybody on the team has to be related (relation defined as blood or marriage) to at least 1 other character on the team. I wanted to see if I could make a team with the Summers-Grey family, but All I've got is Cyclops, Jean Grey, Phoenix (Rachel), Cable, Corsair and Havok...I suppose I could bring in a Goblin Queen but I REALLY don't want to do that
You're good. But I'm magic!

Which is impressive, because it sounds pretty damn stupid.
