Does anyone have any info on any of the following conventions
for 2009

Cancon (Canberra [Jan 24 - 26])
Supanova (Melbourne [March 27- 29])
Supanova (Brisbane [April 3 - 4])
Conquest (Melbourne [April 10 - 13])
Retrocon (Victoria [June?])
Necronomicon (Sydney [June?])
Supanova (Sydney [June 26 - 28])
Supanova (Perth [July 3 - 5])
Gencon [Brisbane [Sept 24 - 27])
Vorpalcon (September?)

Arcanacon (Melbourne)
Armmageddon
FauxCon (Victoria)
Unicon (Melbourne [October?])
PANDEMONIUM (Adelaide)
Sydcon

Does any know if these conventions will be running in 2009 ?
or if there will there be Heroclix events scheduled ?


If you are a Heroclix Judge
Are you running any heroclix events at any convention?
If not - Would you be willing to run one ?

I'd appreciate any info on any 2009 Conventions
It would be great to see a host of Heroclix events
in Australia in 2009 - lets get together and make it happen

Necronomicon is unlikely to take place next year, based on the information that I have. It's unfortunate, because it was always happy to have clix as an event.

Sydney gaming conventions include Sydcon (October long weekend), Macquariecon (second weekend of December), and probably something over Easter (not sure what the name will be next year). I'd be keen to see clix at any of them, but I'm not a judge; either Mr_Nobody or Draggor would have to get involved to run them (... or they make me become a judge ). It's too late to oranise anything for Sydcon this year, but Macquariecon is possible if people think that the venue is viable; Macquarie University isn't easy to get to by public transport.

Likewise, it'd be great to see clix events at Supernova; without much traditional gaming there, I haven't been motivated to check out the show.
