What if the person didnt give us the right name and a different address.

You can call the police of the area that the induvidual gave you.
They can find out the owner of the address and see who it is, you can then file a police report or trade commsion report.

Also when I was almost ripped by lojo I found out that if you find out the person is a scammer early enough you can ask your local post office to do a package recall. They contact the post office where the package is headed if it's still in transit and although I don't know all the specifics they are able to stop the package from going out to be delivered. I was lucky lojo's latest account nwo4life was banned the night of the day I sent. I went to the post office the next day and when I started mentioning mail fraud they became very helpful. This may be a niche fix but maybe it will help someone.
