Tewa Wildmane:
Cost: 6
Attack: 0
Health: 0
Tewa Wildmane has +1 ATK and +1 health for each face-down resource you have.
So, here's a question:
If I (like some sort of idiot) played Tewa Wildmane when I had no face-down resource, would it immediatly die? I ask because fatal damage occurs on cards when their health goes down to zero. If I play Tewa with no face-down resources, it's health is at zero, so it should die, correct?
If that is so, and I (hypothetically) had 2 resources remaining after playing him, could I chain his "death" by completing a quest, thus giving him +1 health (and attack), so he won't die?
I ask just because of the rules question, no worries I would never be so stupid as to play him with out first having a bunch of face-down resources.
206.1 Each character card has a health value in its lower right corner. If a character accumulates damage greater than or equal to its health (fatal damage), it’s destroyed during pre-priority processing (408.5).
Tewa Wildmane will be destroyed during PPP (pre-priority processing) if you have no face-down resources.
Well, according to the text you just quoted, Tewa would need to accumulate damage greater than or equal to its health...so technically it would need to take damage first, right?
Well, 0 health would ultimately means it need to receive 0 or more damage. A 0 health character would need to take at least 0 damage for it to be destroyed.
How do you get 0 damage? You don't need to do anything and PPP would just destroy Tewa
Tewa will die upon party invite unless you have a face down resource. It has 0 dmg on it when invited, and 0 = 0, so, if you want to, you can consider it as having taken fatal dmg.
hahaha Like I said earlier, this is just hypothetical as I would never be stupid enough to do such a thing, but I've played to turn 7 before with only face-up resources.
