So, I am one of the lucky few who got chosen to Judge in the DMF (Darkmoon Faire) and I was wondering...what do you guys think are the most important things to study? I will also be taking my lvl 2 judging test while I am down there. Some obvious things are...pretty much all of section 7 in the Comprehensive Rules, but what else? What do you notice always being questioned about in your local tournaments?
Also, anyone who ever just wants to chat about WoW, (TCG or MMO) please add me on AIM, Yahoo, MSN or Gtalk! It's the same for them all...slednecker2 (-;
My advice would be to re-read the entire comp rules and the OCR as well as the HoA and TDP FAQs.
Also, you should probably look on the www.ude.com/wow rulings forum for Moorf or Slowmail's posts to find out rulings for difficult situations. They probably won't come up in the test, but at least that will prep you for similar kinds of questions.
make sure you know all the terms involved in the combat sub step. Also all the priority windows and where they occur.
Watch out for the wording in the questions. I know in the VS and Yugi test I missed more questions because I didn't read the question correctly then just getting it wrong.
Remember that all the information you need will be provided with the question. If you think something isn't there that should be, your probably thinking aobut the question in the wrong context or something.
