I've been playing quite a bit of limited lately and I've noticed people have been passing up the plaugeborn meatwall. I believe that if you have any semelence of stall the meatwall is awesome. In limited, where allies are king, it is insanely hard to get past something that basically shuts down ally attack. I think in draft, the meatwall is 1st pick material. What are your thoughts
He seems good in theory, but in practice I generally see him get attacked by a character that costs less than him, and then hit by direct damage. It's not even a 2-for-1 cause he can't kill the character that attacks him. I think he's just a little slow, as he doesn't kill anything on the 1st attack. I'd generally rather play another 5 cost protector (Kulan or Ophelia come to mind).
Seems to me in constructed that he would be the type of ally you'd want to combo with Soul Link. It's not as good as it could be, considering his effect only triggers when he defends, but it would be nice every time he protects to just put five damage on him to bubble up your hero and have him deal it back to the source immediately. Makes you susceptible to instant removal, but it still seems like a nice interaction.
