if someone was to steal a weapon with nynjah and already owns a weapon and does not have duel wield out, does the weapon that he stole with nyn jah go back to the owner or is it destroyed since he cannot have two weapons?
Assuming the two weapons cause a uniqueness conflict (e.g. two melee (1) weapons, instead of wand (1) + ranged (1) or something like that),
then the uniqueness conflict causes one of the two weapons to be destroyed (controller's choice) during pre-priority processing, and the destroyed weapon will go to its owner's graveyard.
Here's another question....Let's say that you steal a piece of equipment that your hero can't use, does that piece of equipment go into the graveyard or is the equipment an illegal target?
It ignores normal rules, you just steal the equipment and use it as normal. The class symbols are only for including armour in your armour deck, not in play.
if you steal a weapon and have one in play you destroy your weapon and put his weapon in play as your own, also it comes in untaped... so swing with your weapon -> steal his ->swing again, if you can.
Jery: This thread is over 2.5 months old, and the rules have changed a little since the last post. However, your post is incorrect.
a) If you 'steal' a weapon with Nyn'jah, and have one in play that causes a uniqueness violation, you choose which to destroy. If you wish, you may choose to destroy your opponent's weapon and keep your own.
Resolving uniqueness violations is no longer part of PPP (it was when JinxM posted above).
b) You can't play Nyn'jah in the middle of combat since Nyn'jah isn't instant - but if he was, unless you have dual wield, you can't strike with 2 weapons in a single combat...
