We'll admit that's it's been a bumpity ride to get all the quality, operations, and logistics issues ironed out as we ramped up our foray into map making ... but we're happy to announce that 100% of the RealmWorx Headquarters orders (as of last night) have been shipped!

Can you put some navigational links on the griderality site? I went there to check out which maps I could buy and I couldn't get around.

I agree on the site- be nice to browse around it without having to find the direct links here on realms.

And is the Realmworx site going to be available for download at some point? I really want it, but I'm not sure if I want to pay for international shipping for it.

the RWHQ download has been talked about; we'll see how it goes.

I am glad you are interested in a download version of the map. But....

...I feel a downloadable version of RWHQ will take away from the uniqueness and lessen the appreciation we have for those who took the time to give our venture a try and invest a little in our project.

I think if we release a DL version it will be different with some changes to it to make it unique in itself and separate from the original.

Typhon and I have discussed it and it is something we are considering.

Please consider us poor international folks. Between the international shipping cost and the fact that the exchange rate just went stupid thanks the the US economy going into turmoil (I still don't get how that makes our dollars worth less US dollars), it would be a very expensive outlay. If I was in the States, or even Canada, I definitely would get one.

How would u guys feel about getting a non-laminated folded map? It might cut down on the shipping....I will have to talk to typhon about it though...this is something we were discussing to help international customers out.

I am thinking it will bring shipping way down since it can be mailed in a flat envelope.

AWESOME IDEA! I'd be totally in on that! I have access to a large format laminator anyway, so I can always do that later if I need to.

Best idea so far. If it looks the same as WK maps that are handed out for each new set, then you're still equal to the previously-set standard for map quality. I personally won't care if it is folded. Just get it in my hands quickly and cheaply.

I don't mean quickly as in fast shipping times, I mean the span from when you announce or display a new map and when I am able to order and pay for a paper version should be very very small. You know that Heroclix players are mostly young male "impulse shoppers" - take advantage of that!

This folding idea is good for another reason: I am now much more inclined to make a purchase every time a new printed map is announced. This is different from my previous plan where (since I live in a exotic foreign land*) I was going to wait until several printed maps were available and make one big order to save on shipping.

Keep up the good thinking, and hey - which one is the November map? Don't announce that kind of stuff without spoiling!

I'm in the overseas group. Would be nice if I could make an order and then receive all of them at once instead of paying for each and thus extra from all the shipping.

I think this would be a nice option even for those in the U.S. I only play in tournaments so I'm not really interested in buying these maps, but if I were to buy a map, I wouldn't want to deal with storing and transporting a laminated map. Of course I could have it printed for me, but it's still something to consider for the lazy among us or even if you can just get it done cheaper than the cost of the download plus printing.

I had paid for my 2 back on Aug. 6, 2008. And not recieved them yet.
I certainly hope I get them, unlike the HCRealms shirt I paid for and never recieved several years ago.

I was referring to downloading the full-size maps from the site (edit: not this one of course) and having them printed at a printing store as opposed to ordering pre-printed maps from you guys.
