Per Degaton makes but one request should you decide to choose him for your team: Play the Loner feat on him and push him to his second click, for then he will have achieved immortality.
"If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world."
He's pretty good. That second click is pretty awesome, and makes him untouchable. The attack SP would've been a bit more useful on the first 3 clicks, but I guess it prevents some Top-heaviness. That good speed with teleport makes him good for taxiing characters. I like his keywords. All-in-all, a darn good support piece, but lacking a bit in offensive capabilities. For feats, I would recommend Book of Destiny, (if you have it) Thwart, Loner, Ousmart, and sometimes Protected.
I really like Per. His high defense makes him untouchable at times, and phasing means he can get where he's needed. His powers are also quite useful; he can put up a fight all the way down his dial.
Trying to catch up after five or six years away from the game.
I love this piece. Hes been amazing in every game I've used him in. Though my friends make him an instant target, he still manages to last the whole way through.
Per Degaton might be a little too good for his comic-namesake. Here he is a support figure du jour. Outwit and Probability Control are nice. Phasing lets him position and the push with the 10 attack to score a hit. This is key because the 19 defense is very intimidating and goes a long way in keeping him alive. His attack Special power is nasty, allowing him an Incap attack as long as he is clear. If successful, follow up with a Psyblast. Regen is wicked at keeping him alive and his dial is designed to allow for nearly any click to be worth regenerating to. Hypertime is the key, keeping his allies safe from charging, HSSing, moving tie-up pieces. Fairly straight forward support powers makes for an easy piece for most players - just don't forget the Hypertime Team Ability!!!
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
i've played him thrice on future teams, won once, top three twice... i LOVE him, he's like that annoying fly in the kitchen that you JUST CANT SEEM TO KILL...

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Or the figures. Or the dice. Or the map...
Per, The Riddler (AA) and LE Daken make an awesome one-two combo: Per and Riddler can use Incapacitate as free actions (targeting a single character). Daken increases his damage value by +2 for each token on the target. After Daken has attacked, Per Degaton can be given a non-free action to make an attack. Rinse and Repeat.
Time Stealers! I was shocked the keyword was even applied back when the set came out. Very intimidating piece, with those two 19Ds, and the phasing plus support powers makes him a major nuisance.
Very likely, my favorite piece in the game...at least as far as characters who aren't one of my favorite characters go. PD here, is Mr. Last Stand. I always push to the natural 19 defense on the second click, take up residence on a piece of hindering and wait. Every time I play him it seems, he ends up being the last man standing, outnumbered and alone, and somehow he always seems to come out on top. Seriously, he took out 3 Stingrays, a half-dead HoT Cap, and SR Scarlet Witch on one occasion, by himself. 20 ranged defense, Outwit, Prob, and rolling to base FTW. And Regen, WTF. I WILL watch you die.
...man, you might say, is nature dreaming... -Jeffers Floronic Man reigns supreme!
Clixathon SuperCap 12/3/11
Perhaps not as untouchable as he should be "between seconds" but he's darn difficult to hit with Loner on him parked in Hindering terrain. As he stands, his absurdly useful Outwit/Prob combo makes him one of the best support figures in the game. When an opponent is shooting at a 21 defense, you know he's got to be a bit upset about that. Per Degaton is an amazing figure if used correctly, even on his later clicks where his ridiculous support powers make way for a decent end dial power set (and another 19 defense!) He may not always Regen onto something awesome, but he's still alive and causing trouble!
This guy is a very cheap piece. He can easily teleport to a good location on elevated terrain to use probability control on all the pieces bellow and across. His team ability also has the potential to prevent close combat. A great support piece for heavy hitters.
I would love to join one of the groups they have here on the site. I could use some help making teams. So send me a message, I'm very friendly.
