Made a deal for AA#100 Sinestro Batman on 12/4... paid via Paypal on 12/6. I've contacted Benparry several times since requesting to have the tracking info or to at least provide the date he sent.

1st he says that he sent from his work mail room (per PM on 12/22) and that he can get the info next week.

So I PM him on 12/29 reminding him to grab the info from work this week and also requesting to give me the date he sent out the package so I can know if I should be worrying.. He sends a response stating that he won't be into work until Monday which is different from the previous PM he sent stating he would give the info that week. He also ignored my request to provide the date he sent the package.

I've sent 3 more PM's which he has not responded to. I've had to open a Paypal dispute in order to recoup my money.

I notice that he had no problem bidding on another HCRealms auction with my money on 12/15.

DO NOT BUY OR TRADE WITH THIS INDIVIDUAL!

Wow thats harsh...But did you atleast get the money back?Like i said i got scammed 4 times.....and i know how you are feeling and it is just frusterating.But keep your head up high you will eventually get the batman.
I actually was suppose to recieve #99 bats but didnt it was a scamm...But i still got one out of luck

I'm pretty sure I got scammed by him as well. But I traded him Powerman/Ironfist and Avengers Super Skrull for Mighty Thor, Wade Wilson LE, and Etrigan. I sent out on 12/10 and have sent several pms all with no responce after I told him I had sent them out. Are there any steps to getting any of my clix back?

I filed a Paypal dispute today, so he's got 20 days to respond before they attempt to get the money back.

Totally done with trading/buying on the Realms though. It seems the end of the game has brought out the scammer in folks who were once good traders/sellers.

Not really. You might want to contact an HCR mod and see if something can be worked out. However, sorry to say, you have no recourse to getting your stuff back. This is pretty much the reason that I no longer trade on HCR.

I think he's a member of the heroclix-uk yahoo group, if that helps at all.

In the past, there used to be a mod who focused on trading. I don't know if there is any one person, but try reaching out to Quebbster or KitsuShel. If anything, they'll point you in the right direction. I sincerely wish you the best in resolving these matters. It's bad for the whole community when these sort of things happen.

I second what charlesx said. Its to bad that some bad apples have to be like that. I think I traded with him on the Wizkids site with no problem.

There might be some problem with shipping, given the holidays, weather and over seas shipping (in my case at least). Maybe this will get him to make contact at least.

I've dealt with Ben on 2 occasions. First went without a hitch, but due to family trouble the second one took awhile to complete, but it was completed. Can't say for sure that is going to happen here, but there still may be a glimmer of hope.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and not attacking him, I'm just worried about him not responding. I hope this thread might grab his attention.

I had one transaction with him. I bought an Adventure Kit (can't remember if it was Indoor or Outdoor) anyway, after almost 2 months it hadn't arrived. I had been keeping in regular contact with him, and after a bit of balleywhoo (I beleive I had to get Kitsushel involved in the whole thing) he finally agreed to send out a 'second' one he just happened to have. OK, but it sounded fishy to me. About 1 week later, the 'second' one did arrive. The weird thing was that he actually paid more to have it shipped to me, than I had originally paid for it and the shipping.

Also I believe that I left Feedback for him (Positive because I'd received the item, if a lot late) but he never left any feedback for me.

For what it's worth. I hope that you guys (gals?) are able to get this situation resolved.

I have also seriously curtailed my trading here on the Realms. Unfortunately, the climate is such that my trust in others has been severely compromised. It's too bad as my dealings here have been great by and large, but it's just not worth it at this point in time.
