With a mass of Super Villains storming downtown, it was only a matter of time before some of New York's Super Heroes had shown up to put a stop to them. And in this particular case, a foursome of locals had answered the call; The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four's Human Torch, the arguably a Super "Hero" Black Cat, and Daredevil.

"This is a colorful batch of characters." Cat said, landing in behind the three who had already assembled and were prepped to head into battle.
Torch and Daredevil both looked at Spider-Man, before Torch turned his head to look back at Black Cat.
"She's with me. Kind of." Spidey answered, trying his best to answer their looks, though the situation made that attempt rather awkward.
"I may not exactly always walk on your side of the law," Black Cat responded "But that doesn't mean I don't care about rampaging madmen tearing up the place. Besides, it was all worth about it just to hear you say you care."

Playfully, the woman took a step closer to Spider-Man and put her arm around his shoulder.

"Herm, Cat, supervillains now, talk later." the wall-crawler said, though it was clear that it was just as much to get out of the situation as it was to do their jobs.
"I agree." said Daredevil. "If we're here to stop them, let's go do it."
"Flame on, then!" Johnny said, ready to go. Flying into the air, he picked up Black Cat and carried her into battle.

"Wow, that's hot!" she commented as they went, though surprised it didn't burn her either.
"I could say the same for you." the Torch joked.

Not one to be left behind, Spider-Man let out a webline and swung forward, grabbing an experimental Daily Bugle floating advertisement display out of a nearby fountain as he did so.

SF Turn 1:
Torch carries Black Cat, moves to J9. Cat is placed in K9.
Spider-Man swings to N9, picking up a heavy object on the way.

As she managed to skillfully dodge Doctor Octopus’ fearsome arms, Black Cat send a kick flying towards Electros face, one that connected solidly with his jaw.

“You better watch it, you two – I land on my feet.”

Daredevil, meanwhile, went to the aid of the Human Torch, who was keeping his temperature at full blast in order to make Sandman think twice about burying him alive.

“Hey, Spidey, doesn’t sand melt when you heat it up?”
“Basic science, Torch. I can only imagine how fearsome that would be. ‘Look out, here comes Glassman! Don’t touch him too hard, or else he might shatter!’ I’m quaking in my Spider-Boots already.”
