Hi I am Alpha-Omega on the realms & I am writing this to those out there who have been screwed over by a trader who went by the name of 'collectiveride' here.
He has been doing this sort of thing over many sites in fact, using many different names & aliases' such as Mark Watson, Logan Smith, Steve Samwell, & I am sure many others too. Regardless of the names used, or sites the crimes have been perpetrated on, the address is always Tujunga Ave in Burbank, CA. It is obviously the same guy, & the MO is always the same: he will either make a small trade with you to build some confidence & then screw you out of big time figures or just outright screw you out of items & either not send his half or not pay etc. He is a total slime & a major con artist.
It is time we stopped this guy. Anyone interested in seeing this guy do the time he so richly deserves for his criminal acts please contact me so we can start a class action suit against him. If we do this we can all make a very small contribution & have him put away for this & maybe even get all our stuff back.

Even though this guy may be a scumbag con-artist, you still can not put his personal info, ie address, up on a public website. Please be a little more discreet in calling him out for his unsavory activities.

You'd probably also want to edit out your contact number and just have folks PM you, unless you don't mind prank calls...

He gave up his rights to privacy when he began pirating peoples property and treating them like garbage. If you find my post offensive then don't read it. This is the only way to stop this guy from further criminal activity.

I took no offense to your post. My intention was simply to protect your personal info. I'm all for publicly humiliating scammers.

I totaly simpathize with you man, but I seriously don't think it will work. I mean my brother got scamed by this guy just a couple months ago, and was almost caught by him again (slightly different version of Logan Smith on another trading site). Heck he got me testing his waters, but never got a reply back. His trade list was funny though, lt had lots of nons, but no SR's or LE's and only one chase fig to scam people off of once he built up his rep with nons.

In another event some other guy scammed a buch of other guys and me over Christmas time (Mutant Misfit, who has a different address), he had a big rep (about 40-50), then suddenly posted a bunch or SR and chase figs and never sent anything out. Really hurts our trust around here. What I wish we could do to prevent this kind of thing, is have a site wide database for each user, containing thier mailing address. So when you want to complete the negotiations, you check mark an option then adds your mailling address. A trade should not be ligit untill it has this stamp. Then if someone wants to scam people he can be blocked by his mailing address.

That is in fact my intention by posting his address here. It is the only sure way to inform people that the scam is out there, since he is hiding his identity over a slough of sites. Yes it may seem like bad form to list an address here but if I had his full information I still would list it here to prevent his scamming any others. Tell anyone who has lost near hundreds of dollars of stuff to this guy I should not make his address known and I think you would get a very different response then 'bad form' by me.

The guy tried to get me at miniature trading.com he goes by logansmith3033 or something. I insisted he send first and never heard from him again. Same address. People like him/her are a waste. I wondered why he just broke off contact.

Another shining example why I am glad to have posted this, very glad you did not get burned by him. Please continue to spread the word to everyone you know about him/her.

Nobody took any offence to your post, so why the need to get defencive over our advice? I guess it doesn't pay to try to help someone out... :cross-eye

Maddragon13 what do you call this above? A resounding endorsement? Do not tell me you are helping me out when you are obviously bashing me for my efforts. What the heck is with the people on this site anyway? You would rather condone an obvious scam artist then be made aware of who he is and what he's doing.
Let me spell it out for you so there is no further confusion on the matter. This posting is for people who want to know about this guy and want to stop him. If you are not one of those folks then do not bother to post here, thanks.

We all feel your pain and are not doubting that something needs to be done with this turd, but take a chill pill. No where in Maddragon's post did I get the feeling that he was bashing you. Looks to me like he was just trying to give you a little helpful advice, which you are bashing him for.

You post was against the forum rules and he was just pointing that out. I would think that have a moderator edit your post would be all the proof you need.

I stand by my post & anyone who says otherwise is just supporting a criminal. I will say no more on the subject other then to those who honestly want to pursue legal matters against this guy.
