A jungle world...

Orange skies. Lush green jungles, dotted with purple and a deep sapphire blue. Red river's flowed, and bestial noises permeated the scene, creating a constant symphony and accentuating the environment perfectly. This world bled 'Exotic'.

Suddenly a crash - a swarm of birds flying from the trees above. Moving closer, a clearing can be seen.

"You b####, it's mine!" screamed a muscular woman, backhanding another female to the ground.

"Over my dead body!" Screamed another, leaping upon the first's back, scratching and clawing.

Above the melee, an orb hovered and flickered with green light. It was centered directly above the three women. Observing, inert, or something even more malicious, no one knew. It merely hovered, emanating a dark miasma of dark power. The three below fought and bickered, apparently vying for the attention, or even possession of the orb. Upon closer inspection, one would see a pupil, retina... It was an eye.

The eye swiveled sharply upward, and the women immediately ceased their fighting, and looked skyward mindlessly. A streak of red flame could be seen, hurtling towards them. The energy discharge around the eye grew more erratic. The women below began to breathe heavily, barring their teeth and uttering bestial moans, screaming and frothing at their mouths. The eye was clearly in some sort of control of these women, relaying its own emotions through them.

The flame began to dissipate and four figures could be made out through the smoke. Cosmic Boy, Chameleon, Wildfire and Shvaughn Erin, the Science Police Officer linked to the Legion.

"Thanks for the force bubble, Cosmic Boy," Erin commented. "Certainly makes interstellar travel a lot easier."

"Not a problem, Shvaughn. Our flight rings cover the same need, but we're still capable of transporting larger groups. Brainiac 5 worked with me on getting my magnetic fields right. He's something of an expert," Cosmic Boy replied.

"Hey, guys-- does anyone else see that?" Wildfire said, his synthesized voice adding a cybernetic timber to his voice that dulled his bombastic disposition only slightly. "There's a huge energy flux coming from those trees."

"Hrrmmm…" Chameleon said, wings sprouting and eye's widening to the size of dinner plates. "Can't see anything through the trees, even as a Telescrow, but there's definitely something down there."

"Good, then this won't take long," Cosmic Boy said.

Just as the words came out of his mouth, bolts of green energy launched from the trees, blasting into Cosmic Boy's force field, shattering it and causing everyone to plummet through the air.

"EVERYONE! Flight Rings ON!" Cosmic Boy shouted, instantly going into battle mode. "Cham, grab Erin-- Drake, give us some cover fire!"

Swinging into action, Chameleon sprouted giant reptilian wings, grabbing hold of Shvaughn in his large taloned claws, diving to cover under the trees. Drake Burroughs, the powerhouse known as Wildfire, launched flaming bolts into the trees, aiming at the source of the bolts.

Once on the ground safely, they moved out. Chameleon led the way, becoming a large feline of sorts, sniffing a safe route forward, as Drake, Rokk and Shvaughn followed behind. Shortly, they had arrived at the clearing.

"The heck is that thing?" Drake whispered, pointing at the eye, and subsequently the women who had renewed their battle.

"Not sure." Cosmic Boy said. "According to this report, we're on the lookout for the Emerald Empress. That eye up there matches the description of the one she wields, but I'm not seeing the woman at the moment."

"Uhhh....Rokk?" Erin said, tapping Rokk Krinn on the shoulder.

"Yeah Svaughn?" He asked.

"They're on the move." She responded, pointing to the trio of women, back to their feral state, the Eye staring directly at them.

"Bow before us whelps." The trio of women snarled in unison. "No one dares trifle with the affairs of the Emerald Eye of Ekronn! Begone, and let us continue our ritual! The Emerald Empress will be reborn!"

"Slag! Allright Legion, I guess we're pulling an L.L." Cosmic Boy shouted, powering up.

"All RIGHT!" Drake shouted, stepping forward, prepared to take anything they could dish out.

"What's an 'L.L.'?" Svaughn asked.

"Shoot first, ask questions later." Chameleon added, growing claws and wings. "It stands for Lightning Lad."

"Ah, I see..."

"Let's go Legion, take them down!" Cosmic Boy shouted, as the battle began.

This looks like a fun matchup, I'd love to villain it.

In that off chance, V Emerald Empress will appear in the spot of the closest lady. The remaining ladies become KOed. If there are multiple ladies equa-distant from the eye, I'll let the villain choose who gets it.
