Yeah, i was just roaming the net' and just when I thought Avengers was the only dark title, The X-men get one too. Can anyone guess as to who these characters are?

Emma seems to have gone "black" and dumped Cyclops for Namor.

Namor is on the team!!

Daken is there.

I can't tell if that Angel guy is the original Mimic or not.

Dagger in the middle?

Is that Xavier in the front?

I can't tell who that character is in the back......Exodus or Cloak maybe?

Cloak and Dagger? Seriously? That's a pretty stupid fit for an X-Men team. As for the rest, I can't muster much interest.

I'm glad Pointer seems to have left Omega Flight, though apparently he stole the suit given to him by the Canadian government. This is Weapon X all over again...

But if this is an April Fool's day joke, it's kind of sad. Usually those elicit some kind of reaction other than apathy.

I thought Dark X-Men were supposed to be X-Force...

Well, while I would like to see Prof X back with the X-Men... um, I can't imagine that he'd be doing it quite like THIS.

Though, I do think there will be a split between Emma and Scott soon, with the X-Force/secrets/etc. exploding in their faces. So an alternate team, I could see.

This team though? Um, not so much. Firestar and Justice would make more freaking sense than Cloak and Dagger. Honestly.

So, it looks like:

Professor X (he's going to get back in the game)
Emma Frost (splitting with Scott over the X-Force issue?)
Namor (considering Dark Reign so far, believable to have him ally with Emma)
Cloak (?)
Dagger (?)
Mimic (makes more sense than Angel/Archangel, but isn't he dead?)
Wolverine (who I could see leaving, considering the last X-Force issue)
Guardian/Michael Pointer (also makes some sense, considering his origin)

Alternatively, this might be something cooked up by Emma, Namor, and the Prof to have a team close to the "Dark Avengers," etc. to keep a better eye on them, just in case.

Well, after a brief check on Wikipedia, Mimic potentially was seen in a dungeon of the Thunderbolts at one time. Guess who runs them now and would be able to let him out. Also, besides the giant M, the guy has wings and small glowing red eyes, so it has to be Mimic.

As for Cloak and Dagger being here, well they are technically mutants, so what the heck eh?

No no no no no. God, so stupid. It's tiresome how their efforts to "tie the X-Men to the mainstream Marvel U" result in simply one-shots for crossovers and knockoff titles like this.

Wolverine joining the New Avengers was the right way to do it, not #### like this.
