The Heroes for Hire had just finished with the Skrull forces as Ravage ran off to find their hidden employer.
"We better go after him, he'll get himself killed," Jessica said reluctantly.
The team ran after their friend, deep into the black of the night.
"He's here, I can smell him," Ravage whispered to himself, as he arrived at a tall skyscraper of a building. He wasted no time as he smashed through the glass of the lobby and made his way up the staircase to the right.
The team followed swiftly behind, noticing the broken glass as they entered.
"Well that's just unnecessary," Ka-Zar declared.
They too bolted up the staircase to the higher floor they could find, and as they finally emerged they saw Ravage standing right before them.
He was dumbfounded.
Their secret employer, the one that had tried to kill them, frame them, and take over their identities, had been none other than the Alpha Flight.
With a cry of fury, Ravage ran off towards the other end of the tower, towards the enemy team that had their back turned.
His allies soon followed.

"How could you do this?" Jessica said angrily, as the Heroes made it halfway accross the room. "You're supposed to be defenders of truth, and justice."
At this, the Alpha Flight finally turned around with smirking faces.
Jessica, angry at their display, picked up a table that was in the room and ran towards them. She smashed the table right into the first face she saw, Aurora. Her enemys body crumpled into a downward corkscrew, right into the hard metal floor. The first blood had been shed.

Aurora staggers under the onslaught, barely keeping her feet. The other members of the team look on as if paralysed, shocked at the suddenness of the attack.
“How could we have been hit so quickly?”......
Trying to respond in kind Box and Weapon Alpha try and engage Jessica but to no avail as their clumsy attempts to connect are easily dodged.
In a futile (final?) attempt Aurora tries to hit Drew only to see her weak punches brushed aside by Drew...
The Flight team realise they are in serious trouble as they look over Drew’s shoulder to see the remaining Heroes for Hire about to join the fight.....how could it have gone wrong so quickly....
Their only hope? A faint rumble from a distant seismic tremor...
Can’t believe I did not spot Jessica’s Charge..how stupid. Great first hit...could well swing the game for you.
Earthquake roll = 5,1...half way there...
Alpha flight ATA will apply to Hydra (funnily enough)
Box picks up Ant Man and charges to H15 trying to smack Jessica Drew. He will perplex up his own attack to 10. 10+1 vs 17+2, rolls 1,3 for a terrible miss. He drops his tiny compatriot at I 14.
Weapon Alpha charges to I17 trying to hit Miss Drew. 9+1 vs 19. Rolls...6,1 = 7 for a miss.
Hmmmmm......
Aurora will flurry needing crits.....2,1 and 2,5..both misses.
Things aren’t looking good at all! Jessica got the jump on me and has now tied me up with her 19 Def which is what I was planning to do with Ant Man.
PS not sure how to write about a team wanting an earthquake to happen!
PPS noticed you picked up the Inhumans in FLE. Nice pick...I was very tempted with them but went with the FF in the end..

Yes, I16...the map link has not saved correctly either...sorry.
I'm quite enjoying trying to write up my turn..albeit badly! I just could not think of a 'plot line' where a team of superheroes would want an earthquake to happen!!
I couldn't believe the following when I saw it...
__________________________
The Heroes for Hire could feel some sort of rumbling in the tower. Bits of it were crumbling here and there, almost as if the whole thing was unstable and could fall at any moment. But at this point, the heroes didn't care. The Alpha Flight would pay for trying to ruin them.
Ghost drew out his sword and revved his hover bike. In a determined focus he tore off towards the group and right towads Ant-Man. Ravage saw him coming and latched out an arm, grabbing onto the back of Ghost's bike. Ravage then through himself off, right into Weapon Alpha and Ghost continued on catching Ant-Man completely off guard. The sword slashed Ant-Man's wings clean off, including one of his arms as well. The enemy let out a cry as he stumbled backwards and collapsed upon the stairs. Ka-Zar was on him in seconds.

Hudons and Bochs exchanged uneasy glances. In the blink of an eye, two of their comrades were virtually out on their feet and the Heroes had not suffered a scratch.
What to do? They took a moment to see if there was any way out of the situation but it looked bleak...short of ”something” knocking a wall onto the Heroes, there seemed little chance.
Ant-Man tried to delay Ka-Zar whilst his team mates took stock................but was far too weak

Keep in mind that you can also use Box's Perplex to boost defenses.

As Ant-Man struggled in front of him, Ka-Zar brought out his spear and quickly ended his life with a blow to the chest.
Ravage meanwhile had tackled Weapon Alpha to the ground and was mercifully pounding on his enemy. Jessica soon joined him, leaving their foe in a bloody mess.
Arachne would've joined them, but bits of debris were falling down all throughout the room, distracting her. If this place collapsed, it would be their destruction.
