When determining if a line of fire is blocked, treat force fields as walls. However, force fields are not walls or blocking terrain. They can't be destroyed and characters can't move over or through them using any power, ability or effect (such as Phasing/Teleport or the flight ability). Characters on opposite sides of force fields are not adjacent.
When counting squares to determine the range or area of any effect, you can't count beyond a force field. (To determine if you are counting beyond a force field, draw a line from the center of the square where the effect originates, to the square you are attempting to count, if the line goes through a force field or through a diagonal bordered by the grid of the force field, the square can't be counted.)

Players must choose starting areas diagonally opposite each other, whenever possible. (in the middle section of the map, the part divided into quadrants).

But...Nightcrawler really has been my favorite character for years.
You get a DFD from barrier if it prevents any attack ona teammate from occuring, but only if the attack were possible. For me Dum Dum Dugan could have running shot at me so Annataz gets a DFD.
And my avatar is Justice from his later New Warriors days.
You need to redo your barrier tokens.
From the PAC:
Give this character a power action; put up to four blocking terrain markers on
the battlefield in any square of clear terrain that is not occupied by a character and is within this character’s range. Each blocking terrain marker must be put adjacent to another blocking terrainmarker created by this character.
The markers need to all be within 8 squares of Dr. Spectrum.
