My Team's Better Than Your Team Random Round 2, Game 3
In the past, Gargantua and I have committed to some big single elimination tournaments to see who was best team in Clix. We determined the best team at 300 points (Defenders), 500 points (Avengers) and 800 points (JSA). Well we're at it again, but this time to make things interesting we're randomizing the point values to see which team is best - at any point value.
Teams must still be able to field 800 points in named figures, no dupes to qualify. Only those figures with the TA on their base may be used, so Hypertime U Flash can't be on the JSA team, but the AA version of him can.
After an initial battle of 32 teams we've widdled it down to 16 contenders:
Gargantua will be playing: Avengers, Legion, SHIELD, Hypertime, 2000AD, GLC, Defenders, Mystics
Flyingicarus will be playing: JLA, Brotherhood, X-Men, Titans, Sinister Syndicate, FF, Skrulls, Batman Enemies
Point value of each game will be determined by random die roll, 1d6 +2, x100 for a range of 300-800. No feats will be used
Only one character per team, the one with the highest point value, will be able to use the TA (to keep teams like Mystics and Bat Allies from being too annoying). If he's KOd, then the highest point figure remaining picks up the TA. For teams that require two members to work (like Sinister Syndicate) any piece may be used to trigger the ability, but only the highest point figure may actually use it.
Onto round 2
Game 1: The Skrulls take on the Green Lantern Corps-still wrapping things up.
Game 2: The Mystics lost their magic and lost to the Titans.

The Map's Indy A, so AD 2000 gets the home field advantage. I'm thinking they'll need it, but that's what we said last round too.
"I can't believe we're working with them," Judge Hershey said with a sidelong glare at Judge Death and Judge Fire.
"They are criminals. They need to be punished," Judge Death said.
"Not your way," Judge Anderson said. "We are working with you on this. Under protest. But there will be no terminations without our say so. Understood?"
"Oh yes," Judge Fire said, but his tone implied that accidents do happen.
"Don't worry. I'll be keeping an eye on them," Judge Dredd said.
"Maybe, but who's keeping an eye on them?" Johnny Alpha asked, indicating Torquemada and Nemesis.
"You needn't worry about me," Nemesis said.
"And I can always keep Torpedo-head in line," Stix offered.
"You think so?" Torquemada scoffed.
"How are we ever going to stop them when we can't stop our own team from fighting amongst ourselves," Hershey lamented to Dredd.
"We'll stop them. We're Judges. That's what we do," Dredd said. "And then we'll kick the butt of anyone who steps out of line here."

At least my side of the map allows Hydro Man some watery terrain. Of course none of the battle will go that way.
Hydro Man to P12.
Mysterio to S15, stealthed.
Beetle carries Venom to Q11, he's Q12. They'll share in Hydro Man's meager but useful defend of 17 ( + 1 for terrain).
Calypso to V14.

"Bah, they're a bunch of over-testosteroned cops, nothing more," Vulture says.
"Agreed. But caution is our ally here," Dr. Octopus warns as he takes reigns of the group. "So we're agreed in dividing up the team. A handful more forward, a handful stay back. Who's going to be our team A?".
Only Venom raises his hand, eagerly. "Blood. Cop blood. I want to see them squirm."
"As do we all. Any others? Mysterio?" Octavious asks but the man known as Mysterio has already disappeared.
"Vulture and Beetle have decided that one flier should go forward and another stay back," Shocker says as the two winged men play rock, paper, scissors. "Damn!" Beetle calls out, "Come on, Venom!" he grabs him and is off.
"I ain't budgin', not until I see there eyes," Bullseye says.
"That's hardly fair," the Stilt Man says as Hydro Man and he also play rock, paper, scissors, "The rest of us have to...". Bullseye pulls out a blade.
"I see a fountain, I'll take the point," Hydro Man says leaving a trail of wetness behind.
Half of the team having left, Dr. Octopus notes that it's a start as he keeps his eyes, and arms, ready for battle.
Just quickly checking, you've got your guys still in the starting area in rows V and W, when they should be W and X. Normally I wouldn't really care, but with Dr. Spectrum's TK, that 1 square can mean all the difference between my being in your range for a good strike and not.

You missed Lester, but I'll assume he's in row W somewhere. Not like I can get to him.
Okay, so I'm taxi-less. This is going to be slow going.

It's a shame that we can't just call this a win for the SS guys and get over it.
Yeah, that's we thought about the Calculator game.
Sorry, I had mis-typed the position for one of my objects. The HO should be in H7, not J7.
