Heroclix.com is gone and replace by something that is really of no help to anyone so now we've lost something important to us all...it's not the figure selector that isn't good as the Units section you can use here or the completely out-dated news...it's the old school write-ups!
Figures like Bane, Bizarro and Swamp Thing seemed mediocre at best before you read what Wizkids had to say about them. It was a sell on something that if you bothered to look it up you probably already had but now you loved it even more.
With these gone there's only one thing to do...we must not post our own...
Apocalypse (Unique from Xplosion)
The first mutant might be the last on the field with this incarnation of the popular character from the X-Men universe.
His strange power combos will keep the opponents guessing and as a flier he’ll atleast be doing something across his dial.
For 133 points you get a leader that can stay back and support or a brick that can launch head-first into battle and pave the way for the backup…
Looking at his stats he may not seem like much but none of his stats drop by more than 2 from their highpoints across the 9 click dial but with Perplex they can surpass them.
With this guy on the field the X-Men are going to have their hands too full to notice the rest of your force rallying along their side of the battlefield.
Mr. Sinister
The evil mutant geneticist from the comics and popular TV series comes to Heroclix equally lethal.
He starts of with Psychic Blast to get rid of any big damage reducers right at the start of the game while Perplexing up his allies before getting some protection from attacks with Shape Change, meaning with some good rolls Sinister might go without getting hit the whole game.
He then goes into Energy Explosion incase the X-Men try to swarm him but if they happen to succeed don’t worry he goes into Regeneration with some added help from either more Shape Change or the ever-handy Outwit.
10 clicks of gene-bending fun for only 106 points, you can never go wrong with this guy on the team…
Lady Deathstrike
For 45 points you can’t go wrong with this classic Wolverine foe.
She has an astonishing 7 clicks for her low, low cost all of which have her Claws in action.
The opposing team can’t see her from range thanks to Stealth and if they come close to her they’re risking 6 damage.
For a very small part of your force she stays useful until she’s KO’d (if your opponent can even manage to KO her) and with such a lethal combination of powers Wolverine might have competition as the top choice in a Heroclix-style mutant massacre.
Sauron
Death from above!
Or KO to be precise.
Sauron flies into battle with a very high 11 attack and a potential for 6 damage thanks to his claws from 5 squares away.
Then if you hit him you risk being Mind Controlled to hit your allies, he can just sit back while you do all the work.
But it doesn’t end there, he’s got Toughness to protect him across his 7 click-dial and if you do actually get a couple big hits on him he’ll just hit you while healing back up thanks to Steal Energy.
Hit this pterodactyl with a side of telepathy at your own risk!
Those are 4 of mine, I'm sure I will make more in the future but in the mean time contribute and share about what your favourites were. Besides the ones I mentioned I really have to give love to Jon Stewart's too.
Ace of the Secret Society of Supervillains Clan!
Yellowjacket (Human) - 100 points of P-Y-M-P - Sweet Papa Doom/BPW
Mr. Sinister combines a slew of deadly powers into one lethal combination: only fitting for this former Horseman of Apocalypse. Sit back and take a shot for up to 3 damage thanks to his Perplex. And don't worry about damage reducers, since his Psychic Blast cuts right through them. And if your opponent does manage to crack through his Invulnerability, fear not! His Regeneration allows him to restore up to 4 clicks of health! Add in some Outwit and Shape Change, and he's ready to face all challengers! Be careful, or you may be next on Sinister's list of experiments!
Baron Zemo benefits from a rather unique combination: he has the Masters of Evil Team Ability and a full dial of Willpower, which means he can take an extra action void of pushing damage before his Team Ability kicks in! Make use of his Running Shot to hit targets up to 6 squares away, and if an opponent decides to base him, he can always pull out his sword and attempt to use Blades/Claws/Fangs and hit them for upwards of 6 damage! Eventually, he gains Incapacitate, so use it to give your enemies an extra action token and slow them down. And make sure you use his late dial Outwit to help him put Plan B into action! With his fellow Masters of Evil backing him up, the Avengers are in for a real slobber-knocker!
As you may have guessed by his name, Johnny Quick is all about speed! And rightfully so: he has Hypersonic Speed on 4 of his 8 clicks! After a few clicks, he does begin to wind down, but true to his name, he picks up again like a bolt of lightning! And not only does his speed mean that he has the advantage of the first hit, but it also makes hitting him a lot harder! This manifests itself by Johnny alternating between Combat Reflexes and Energy Shield, making him one difficult speedster to catch, both up close and at a range! Don't forget his Super Senses either, since they allow him to avoid taking damage altogether! And when he gets tired of running, Johnny gets up close and personal with Flurry, allowing him to take 2 shots per action! No wonder the Crime Syndicate has him on their staff!

Actually, I literally have SETS of these that I had officially written for WizKids back when Jason still worked there. Unfortunately, most of them never saw the light of day. If I remember correctly, the only ones that were ever posted where the ones that I'd done for the Colossal figures (Sentinel, Dark Pheonix, and Galactus, if I remember right). I'm sure I still have them somewhere if there's a place to post them. Although, throwing them in a thread seems silly. It'd make more sense if there was a way to connect them to the units in the units section.
Trades: WITH WoL H/W, also looking for Mandarin Rings, DoFP Rares & Nimrod

Well this is a fun thread, if anyone feels their write-ups are too pro for it you don't have to submit any of yours.
They really should have made it that Zemo can push forever.
Maybe ours are too pro and its scaring other people away?
Honestly, these write ups were so much fun to read back on the Wizkids site. It was like selling a car almost: they were giving you a sweet write up to convince you that the figure was great to play.
And I agree, Zemo should have been able to constantly push. But then again, too many people would complain about it being broken....
I'm thinking of some more write ups as we speak

Doc Bruce Banner, pelted by Gamma rays, turned into the Hulk...and what a Hulk he turned into! Hulk Smash! Or should I say, shoot! This version of everybody's favorite green skinned titan comes equipped with some serious ranged capabilities, the first time ever for a Hulk! In addition, he also picks up some Leadership so that his allies can have a bit of an easier time moving around. But not to fear! Ol' Hulk still retains a few of his classic features, including an entire dial of Super Strength and Leap/Climb! And what would the mighty Hulk be if he didn't have some Toughness and Invulnerability to back him up as well! He's even a Wildcard, which means he can copy any Team Ability! If you thought the Toughest One There is was deadly before, just wait until you see this one!
Thanos, the Mad Titan from Titan, clocks in at a whopping 267 points! But as they say in life, you get what you pay for. And in Thanos' case, you get a lot! He starts with Phasing to make moving much easier (as well as escaping tight situations), Psychic Blast to ignore his opponents' damage reducers and Outwit to cancel his enemies' superpowers! But after a few clicks, Thanos changes from a ranged monster to being a close combat tank! He maintains his damage reducing capabilities, and gains Close Combat Expert with a few clicks of Probability Control to boot! And when the momentum of combat shifts to his opponents' favor, he regains Psychic Blast to finish them off, right before his Regeneration allows him to heal himself mid-combat! Add in the coveted Power Cosmic Team Ability, which grants him immunity to Outwit and permanent Willpower, and Thanos' high point cost seems justified!

People should just shut the #### up. They're all garbage.
If they wouldn't have complained constantly clix wouldn't have changed 10 thousand times and there wouldn't have needed to be reason for all kinds of remakes and no Chameleon or the rest of the Legion.
Zemo should be able to push all the time as should any other Masters of Evil with Willpower. Or even the dirtiest of all...Luke Cage last clicks with Thunderbolts.

Venom has a rainbow dial: this means that he has a power in every slot on every single click on his dial. Of course, you'd think that means that Venom has lots of options, and he doesn't disappoint! Venom can do everything from hide with Stealth, tie up opponents with Plasticity, bash his opponents with Super Strength or heal himself thanks to Steal Energy! And that's just for starters! He also has the Sinister Syndicate Team Ability, so whenever a fellow member needs a boost in attack, just put Venom beside them so they can power up! Now that the Syndicate has Venom in their ranks, Spidey better watch his back!
The Joker's dial is much like he is: totally crazy! With constantly changing powers and stats, playing him is much like playing roulette! You never know what you're gonna land on! One minute he may start feeling devious with his Outwit, and the next he may decide to give his opponents a taste of Joker venom thanks to Poison, all right before he decides to make a stunning escape with his Leap/Climb! And when he's ready to enter the fray again, he's got lots of tricks still up his sleeve, including Energy Explosion and Incapacitate! And in case Fatman and the Boy Blunder every show up, he's got Mastermind, Willpower and Combat Reflexes to make sure he always gets the last laugh! Backed up by either the Injustice League or Batman Enemy Team Abilities, you can be sure that Joker will always be a thorn in somebody's side, especially the Dark Knight!
